I know a lot of people are hating on this tour. I do agree that it isn't like the the DWT and people argue that the DWT looked better, this isn't the DWT. This is the sweetner tour. There are some parts that are messy e.g bloodline and that the set list doesn't really make sense, but personally I think we should be grateful ari is even touring. A couple of months ago she did not wanna tour at all but now look at her. She's strong and happy and beautiful. Her vocals are insane in this tour thus far and she still has so many more shows yet. This is only the beginning and the beginning is always a lil' rusty, especially in Arianas case where she hasn't toured in a while and was not prepared to tour in the first place. Things will only get better from here. When ari sees things that the fans don't like, I'm sure she'll talk to her fans and try and sort things out to the best of her ability.

Obviously this tour is not as elaborate and choreographed as DWT, but if you watched her latest interview with Zach Sang (it’s on KZbin go check it out), she discusses just wanting to sing and that’s it. She only loves tour bc she gets to meet and interact with fans and sing live for 2 hours straight. But of course ppl need to be entertained for that amount of time so they add effects and choreo to make it more interesting. But I mean let’s just give Ari a break. I can totally imagine being a singer and not really wanting to do that much choreo or dancing during a performance. Like think of Adele. Adele literally stands there and sings that’s it. No choreo dancers, special lighting, nothing. And she still dominates music like Ari. I’m not sure if what I’m tryna say is coming across lol but I honestly would feel so happy jsut to be there and watch her sing and don’t really care about the visual aspects as much! It’s just a concert lol

As an audio engineer, I can tell you that there is nothing cheap about her set-up. Her stage costs over a couple million dollars. The design is plain, but it is not cheep. I know what it takes to fly that equipment in the air.

i wish all of u who are constantly complaining bout the stage production, lighting n visuals would shut up. pls jus give her a break. ariana wasn’t even going to tour 6 months ago, so pls be greatful that she’s even touring at ALL ! ariana knows what she’s doing n all of u complaining can just shut up. i think this tour is the most personal, perfect tour she’s ever done ! she wanted it to be focused on vocals n having a good time, all us fans loving and supporting ari. that’s all us ari fans n concert goers care about unlike the very few people complaining and spreading mean comments from behind a screen. i’m not trying to be mean or anything, u can all have ur own opinions but pls be kind! 🥰

I’m pretty sure that the reason she didn’t sing imagine/ghostin/better off/in my head is because it’s really hard for her to sing so those because the wounds are still healing and she’s still grieving. Ngl you all complaining ab tour knowing that like four months ago Ariana wasn’t planning on doing this because her mental health was so bad is a bit mean. She’s done very well putting this together in the past few months.
