im super late but I just bought my mk4 jetta wagon for 1700 (first car) with only 98k miles, it has a few cosmetic dings and slightly dirty, but, it was garage kept, only had to change out the oil pan, replace a throttle wire, and replace 2 sensors for about 400, so for a pretty clean mk4 with under 100k miles 2100, pretty clean, i also love the all suede seats it has, they're comfy
