Why the heck have I not heard your name before today Aric??? You should be recognized as one of the great drummers alive. Your solo from 2012 was amazing dude, how you pulled that off with that many intricacies was incredible.

one of the reasons you're one of my favorite drummers is how musical you play them.

These drum parts are absolutely next-level and completely in a league of their own. Congrats on pushing the boundaries for what's capable on a drum kit and other percussive surfaces!

Holy freaking smokes. This might be some of the most awe inspiring drumming I have seen in years. And the written commentary along with this was incredible. I would watch a whole video 8 minute video for each song with your process and thoughts for the parts you came up with, what you're intimidated to play live, etc. Please do this.

Very nice job Aric! I find you the most patterns searcher in drumming which to me this is THE PERSONALITY! They way you express yourself on drumms is literally unique. Love you! 👊🤗

This is so fucking cool. I love the notes about recording and writing, that is something you miss in most music these days with it mostly being digital. I adore hearing about the actual process of writing this music.

Having listened to you guys for almost five years now - and having watched Nick wrote most of this on Twitch - I can relate so hard to you guys cutting a riff so it gets its own song on the next album. That's a cool little bit of info. Amazing work on all of it, Aric. Truly played your heart out. It's more refined and the energy is more honed which makes each part that much more intense. It is a pleasure to have this next piece in a music collection. Looking forward to the next one already. 🤘

This was awesome to watch and see insight into the tracks. Love in a Liminal Space is my fave by far, the vibe is killer. It looks like you're using a Dyna Sync left pedal and Iron Cobra right? I saw it on the 8 Gates video too.

Incredible. THANK YOU for this insight. Question: how perfectly do you have to set up your kit since you practice so much and "burn" it into muscle memory? You're so effortless and smooth moving around it, I wonder if it has to be positioned down to the millimeter?

Aric is a drummer who is beyond amazing. i just wish he would be in better bands. none of his bands deserve him. a lot of wasted talent with these junky bands he’s in. he’s outplaying everyone he’s ever recorded with.

You didnt mention slow dose. guessing it's your least favourite song on the album 😅

I love that song. We just didn't get footage of the drum parts for that or "Aska." No song would make the album if we didn't all love it.

UGH I hear the raw sound and cry. You guys mutilated that snare sound. All the character and overtones are gone, it's just a toneless "SMACK" sound on the final mix. What a travesty to drum tones! ;_;
