The Curie Wheeler The Curie Wheeler awe thank you so much! I have a couple tutorials in a playlist but to make it look so natural and smooth just takes a lot of time and practice 😅 I learned a lot of my skate mannerisms from going to the skate rinks and skating with the quad skaters. I saw how they did it and wanted to be able to have that same feel on Inlines. It took a very long time but now I have a style that is very unique 🦑

Lol you always get such nice guards! Except for that parking ticket lady in your D.C. video. XD She had some issues. As always, such fun videos that really capture the vibe of skating, in my opinion! These exploring videos are always my favourite, they make me so envious! Haha, at least with the videos in the DMV area, I could technically go and visit all those places since I am nearby. Vegas? Yeahhhhh.....can't do that lol. Also, I caught the Big Apple Coaster in the background hahaha. My coaster enthusiast brain always focuses on roller coasters. XD That one is quite infamous! Mostly for being an absolutely terrible, painful ride that feels like it is going to fall apart lol. They could have chosen any other coaster manufacturer than Togo, and it would have been a better ride. As it stands, it's really nothing more than an extremely expensive and large piece of modern art. XD

Hey I'm a new subscriber and I'm a huge fan of the rogue skate scene. Have you ever been a quad skater or have you always just used blades? Are there any quads youd specially recommend for the novice outdoor skater? I've been skating about 5 years

Hey! I rode blades since I was younger but I bought a pair of quad skates a few years ago to try it out and so I could be good at both styles. Im not sure about good outdoor quad skates, I only ride mine at skate rinks personally.

I am a quad skater but want to blade. Just ordered the fr1 and the edge x and both were to tight on the ankles. Any suggestions for confy Skates ? Small+ bony feet Greetings from Berlin

ρiπp'lες In sorry to hear that. Blades are hard because it takes a long time to fully break them in. Meaning you might have pain for weeks or even months until the blades begin to open up. Also most new blades will have have ankle sores because they run your foot differently compared to quad skates. It will take time to build up the skin with calluses. Hopefully this advice helps and is not confusing. Let me know if need more help! My favorite are FR1 but I haven’t tried many brands :(

@@Skating_SquidMate thank you for replying . So I think I have to try some more models and take thr most comfortable one. After a while the liner will adapt to my footshape...ok but the shell ? Will it always stay in uts shape or will it loosen up with time aswell ? Today I have tried the (old) Twister x Transparent and they were not too bad. Would you say that you have pain arround the ankles after a longer session ? Or is there like a certain fatigue and zero pain pain. My thoughts were that maybe inline skates always pressure more and cant be as comfortable as quads .. donk know. Anyways, sry for my bad school english I am german and thanks alot. Keep it up

ρiπp'lες In no problem at all friend I understand you completely. Yes pick the most comfortable one and unfortunately the shell will not change much. However, over time your body will adapt to the pressure and fatigue of skating and naturally become stronger. When I first started inline skating again it took months before my body built up resistance and strength. I think inline skating is harder on your body than quad skates so yes you are correct about that. Even now after years if I take a long break from skating my ankles and certain areas where the skates rub will hurt after a very long session. I would recommend just being consistent and it’ll get easier over time. If you find that it never gets better then perhaps find a different pair or don’t go as tight on the laces and buckles.
