Both fighters should at least try to sell the fight. He was speaking way more when he was fighting Connor. Considering he’s more famous than Masvidal IMO, saying a few words for each presser, showing up late, leaving early doesn’t help. People can see he’s not even bothered. He’s the main draw. I’m not blaming Nate specifically, the whole presser and promo was lame. Nate should still get paid what was agreed upon.

Fanmio is clearly a scam shop however Diaz or more specifically his advisors need to take some of the blame here for failing to protect Diaz. At a minimum they should have ensured that the 8.5m was being held in escrow by an independent lawyer as opposed to relying on verbal reps from a Fanmio subsidiary. Boxing is shady but Fanmio as a new kid on the block does not have the same capital as the established promoters like Matchroom and Golden boy and whilst some may argue that Matchroom and Golden Boy as promoters make too much profit versus fighters pay they always pay their fighters as per the contracts.

My dream as a disabled man would be to follow my England in a RV all over the USA. Unfortunately it’s too much financially but I guarantee that the England fans who go will be great. I always have said this , I don't understand how any promotor (trying to make money) can guarantee any payout, even the NFL for example has a 50/50 split with the players , they know their revenue in advance. example I promote a event and guarantee a 50/50 split with the fighter, fighters, TV and Live Gate bring in revenue of 30 million, fighters get 15 million, I get $15 million then have to pay the venue, insurance, refs and whatever, I guarantee a fighter 5 million, and the event brings in 2 million, .... How do I pay the fighter 5 million? anyway its not a good business strategy or practice
