Its all to destroy japanese traditional heart! See same in Judo when they banned leg grabbing todsy they shido even low inside moves which limits the overall smaller Japanese and a 2m Riner can just push his arms on them. To take a taller opponent by a lower point is the whole essence of that sport so its totally done. In Karate especially that Ariel dude they do 1000s of videos with whatever merch on and glorify themselves. This alone is a disgrace for Karate and a lot of these Europeans might have a level but they are too stiff and focussing on power and image. Truly ugly and the reason they might win is cuz their national commitees or politicians are buying them positions. Its like they are buying clicks they are faking.
