So many negative comments for such a funny interview. Why? If the "tongue in cheek" sarcasm was not blatantly apparent to all of you then I don't know what interview you were watching.This is just Rampage in "character" raising his own stock as an entertainer along with Ariel's at the same time. Ariel's a great interviewer that held his composure throughout all their interviews together, and hats off to him for keeping it flowing smoothly and professionally! Ariel's humility shines, great job!

I love rampage, especially his fighting style and attitude towards fighting. Allot of people forget that he respects mma as an art. He values honor. That's why he likes the Japanese fans so much. However, I am also tired of alpha this and alpha that. People who usually talk like that usually have problems and try assert their dominance to smaller guys. He is just one of those people that knows no one can beat him up so he gets away with it. Remember, bullies also claim "I was just joking".

asking direct questions is not a sign of disrespect. UFC fighters want the same recognition as Boxing fighters but don't understand how the press works and that its part of the job.

I just see a man having a good time after a win. He seems to be happy that it's over w/ a W for himself. Ariel knows this about Rampage and played along with it. The fighter personalities run the gamut .. as long as they dedicate themselves for our entertainment, who cares if their personalities aren't our cup of tea.

@RastaTrent Word. People just rather have a predictable suit with a mic instead of a personality like Rampage they cannot identify with because he's uncomfortable to them. Just listen to what he says in the first moments of the interview 'We human beings dawg". Exactly. Clearly he was hurt , annoyed, angry about some comments or questions by Helwani. Don't take side's so easily people, this is no good guy - bad guy situation unless you make it one.

@bearcatcow No you're wrong. Quinton seriously doesnt like Ariel for two reasons. The first is that Ariel brought up King Mo when Quinton wanted to be interviewed about Matt Hamill and Quinton didnt understand why he had to bring up King Mo. the second reason is that on a radio show Ariel got upset because Quinton called him the little mermaid. Ariel didnt say anything negative but got upset about the remark and gave Quinton a little bit of attitude.

Really bully-like, Rampage. Not cool. I love Rampage, but come on, man, this is just mean. Love Ariel, too. Got love for both guys.
@jondoe-du2fr13 жыл бұрын
@hulilutteri - Bro, you just lost your house! Ariel started this "beef" (if you can call it that) on his MMA Hour show. Ariel is a great interviewer, and I like his direct approach very much. But sometimes his questions can be somewhat insinuating and lead to misinterpreted answers from fighters. Rampage and his team felt that Ariel was instigating problems for Rampage via the questions he asked (look it up). And it's not the first time either. Nick Diaz also had the same issue with him.
@Sevencastle13 жыл бұрын

guys.....not every fighter is gonna like Ariel... i know guys like BJ Penn and others are a big fan of Ariel and they show a lot of love to Ariel but every now and then, some people are gonna dislike him, like Rampage. They got off on the wrong foot. I saw and interview between Ariel and rampage like 2 years ago where he was very friendly to Ariel...IT was after his victory over Jardine and he was talking about Evans and Machida... but he just forgets.
