Very pretty OTJ design! Ariel, I always love the advice you share and this one is so important. I am in my fourth year of pro painting, so I still remember the beginning well and I was so overwhelmed by the, as you say, editorial face paint designs, that I often despaired that I would never be "good". It did not take me long to realize that perfection is very rarely expected by either kids, or parents, and something as simple as a single rainbow cake swipe over an eye, can cause ooohs and ahhs from my line. I learned not to take myself so seriously, and just try to enjoy myself and find my own artist's voice, rather than try to emulate others. I'm glad you are sharing that very important point here. Thank you for continuing to be a mentor, cheerleader, confidante, and voice of reason, for our paint family.

What vrush do you suggest as a substitute if you don't have that one

Experiment with different brushes and see if you like the look. Use brushes on an angel and see what you think. You don't have to use that brush.
