KTM 890 Adventure R - THE MOUNTAIN MEN - A Slovenian Hard Adventure!

I travel to Slovenia to meet with my subscribers, who take me on an epic Hard Adventure through bear country! Mountains, lakes, rivers, rocks, logs and an Enduro-X track. Meeting these Mountain Men proved to be one of the greatest two wheel adventures I've had on a twin cylinder dirt bike, this time with the 2022 KTM 890 Adventure R.
Three years ago at the 2019 KTM Adventure Rally in Bosnia, I met a Slovenian dirt bike rider named Andrej who gave me an open invite to ride with him and his crew, who've been following Motology Films since the beginning.
In the true spirit of adventure, I came to Europe and decided to ride on a KTM from Austria to the Slovenian border and meet with a bunch of strangers and see where they take me ... hope you enjoy the video!

Hi, I’m from Bosnia. I’m watching your videos for last 7-8 years and I can’t believe that you drive with all this guys in Slovenia. I’m MX2 champion in Bosnia for last 3 years and ride with Luka so many time on mx tracks. I know that my English is bad but I only have to tell you if you ever came to Bosnia texting to me maybe we can make some cool video about mx and enduro in my country. Ps: I have uncle in Melbourne😂

I went trail riding last night with a couple of mates and we had a couple of beers afterwards and a topic we talked about was the media (news outlets, social media) and the very negative, destructive heaviness that it lays on you. A point I made was (I travelled the world a little in my younger days) that if you actually got off the couch and travelled you would see all the good in the world. All the fascinating places and amazing people that will go out of their way to help you and welcome you in to their lives This video shows exactly what I am talking about and gave me the warm fuzzies. Not because of the motorcycles and the riding. It was the people.

Yeah nah, great to see you ripping it in Slovenia. I’m a born and bred Aussie of Slovenian decent, but having climbed to the sumit of Mt Triglav I can also call myself a true Slovene. It’s a beautiful country. I’ve been riding since I was 8 but not seriously until the Power of Sound and Riding the High touched my soul. Now I have a worked TE300i, Kawasaki Z900RS, and a Ducati Desert X on the way. My kids ride, my mates ride, and I’m pretty sure God likes the smell of a 2 stroke in the morning too. Keep up the great work.

Salut! Just as an observation, Romania was never part of the former Yugoslavia and is hardly part of the Balkan Peninsula. Of course "Balkan" is a man made concept so is very hard to draw the border line in those cases, and for sure Romania has a lot of influence from the balkans, but it's not really part of it. Slovenia is the most beautiful country i've visited until now...the Julian Alps are just breathtaking and everything else there is bust WOW. The grass really is greener on that side, no question about it...no wonder it was considered the "Pearl of the Yougoslavian crown". Great clip as always, Adam! Cheers!

Slovenian Alps are gorgeous, I agree and it is very beautiful country, at least from Ljubljana to the North and I love riding there as much as I can. But it was never considered as "pearl of Yugoslavia" mate! 😉

How f@$king cool Adam to go and meet a bunch of people who you don’t know in another country that love watching your videos as much as we all do , the common thing that brought you together is the motorbike a kind of tool I suppose you could call it . As always a great video sir. I have been to Slovenia a few time for work and on my first approach to the airport I leaned over to my copilot and said I NEED to bring a bike here!
