JohnnyD, recently crowned WA Motocross Champion, is a 23-year-old boiler maker, who builds boats to pay his way to the next race! Watch his episode of the Dirt Kitchen to see if he laps the track in the Top 10.

As a nearly 50 year old that hasn't had a dirt bike since the mid 90's and recently got back into it to ride with my 9 year old son on his bike I have only just discovered your channel. What a cracking channel it is and brilliant content mate. Loved this episode. I was a bit afraid of looking like a kook at the track but frankly i realised pretty quickly nobody cares and as long as your having fun what your riding or your abilities arent whats important its the fact that your enjoying it and best of all spending time with the young bloke. Keep up the awesome content.

Great work Adam, you showed us how skilled and humble Jonny D is as a rider and as a bloke .... I grew up with his dad Bush riding in wattleup..... Some of our best memories tearing through the bush on bikes.... I have the same same problem that bike's are part of my DNA.... I'm so used to seeing the track in the green fields that it was a bit of a shock to see that your summer looks like ours here in California. Loose and dust over hard-pack. Another great video and a great comparison. 80% rider, 20% bike.

I always enjoy your vids Adam,very cool..always! The kayaba's on Yamaha's have been good for years and years. I enjoyed my ktm's, husqvarna's and husaberg but the KYB on a Yamaha is just so good. People under Estimate the 125 two stroke in the hands of a skilled rider …1986 Johnny O’Mara in his prime beat 500 cc world champion Dave Thorpe on a works 500 cc two stroke .. hands down…..another great example Steve Lamson in 96 people forget to rip a 125 takes skill 😎👍. @@MotologyFilms Yes mate that's how we are doing it,all trying to juggle between the WA south west heat and still getting a ride in. Out of the 7 bikes on last weekends ride, 6 enduro 450s and a yz250 the yz needed more cool down stops. I'm guessing if the rides were done by 9.00am the bush chooks were out by 10 past. Great content as per normal mate.

Really good comparison, you can see a rider new to the track with great talent rides laptimes where his head is at regardless of the bike. 2 days on the track and the 3 bike's laptimes would diverge consistently. Subscribing

I'm not a professional rider but I could imagine someone moving from a 125 too fast into a 450 and lose alot of learning potential only to return trying a 125 then getting faster on a 450 :)
