i've noticed this about a ton of his demo tracks where they sound a bit weird/off/missing some quality polishing up. usually once the final version gets dropped it sounds far more like an 'Aries' track would with less random "beep boops" and other Owl City-esque sounds. I appreciate hearing the progression of these songs but am also extremely glad that is the approach he took to producing because tbh I am not a big fan of his tracks that have those obnoxiously loud "beep boops" like in "Amy's Grave" for example. Absolutely adore that track from start to finish but can't stand those awful beep boops he left it for seemingly no reason like after 2:48 until the end :(
