Define the meaning of “DONE”. Carrot Top is worth $70 million and performs six nights a week at the Luxor in Las Vegas. If being “DONE” means you’re being paid to work one hour a day (or 90 minutes a day), be worth $70 million to play with props on stage, and he has the rest of his day to himself… then.. OK. It’s the difference between Mel Gibson and George Clooney. Audiences made Mel a movie star. First with Mad Max; then with Lethal Weapon. And you could probably name a dozen other movies he’s starred in even if you’re not a fan. George Clooney on the other hand worked and networked his way into opportunities and even then suffered massive bombs. He made Ocean’s 11 with Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Julia Roberts so he would appear bigger than he is. Bill Cosby was never a natural star like Sidney Poitier and Richard Pryor.

@CruzzzControl1984
@CruzzzControl1984 5 ай бұрын
@acpjr He definitely feels more comfortable for sure. But he takes pride in calling these interviews, but some aren't formated that way, like his Boosie ones. And it just turns into just a conversation between friends, which doesn't mean it can't be good, but interviews should give you some more insight into the person. Not saying he can't have a laugh here and there, but banter like that turns into more of a podcast and not an interview. You know? There has to be a degree of professionalism. Not this: Vlad: "What do you think of (current event)?" Guest: "I thin...." Vlad: "Cause I remember that when Tupac was around..."
@acpjr
@acpjr 5 ай бұрын
@@CruzzzControl1984 True, but his regular guests such as Boosie, Aries, TK Kirkland, Gilbert Arenas, etc. are paid appearances specifically to discuss current events. Not every sitdown is an "interview".

It makes sense that your best work is done when you’re young because that’s when you’re the most creative cognitively. The older you get, the more rigid you become with your thought process. This phenomenon is called functional fixedness. When you’re a kid and you didn’t have a bowl to eat your cereal, you would eat that cereal from a cup.
