And for the record, Rodney Dangerfield was a standup comedian before he started acting in films. His career didn’t takeoff until he was in his 40s. Same thing with George Carlin, I followed his career as I got older. He did a lot of standup and I have some on vinyl. His best work was probably in his late 40s, early 50s. He was in Bill & Ted Excellent Adventure in 1989. He was like 52 years old.

And it just turns into just a conversation between friends, which doesn't mean it can't be good, but interviews should give you some more insight into the person. Not saying he can't have a laugh here and there, but banter like that turns into more of a podcast and not an interview. You know? There has to be a degree of professionalism. Not this: Vlad: "What do you think of (current event)?" Guest: "I thin...." Vlad: "Cause I remember that when Tupac was around..."

George Carlin got better the older he got. I think you can say the same for Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton. As far as rappers, Eminem was ALMOST 40 when he put out Recovery. Most people under 30 would say that’s his best project.
