And for the record, Rodney Dangerfield was a standup comedian before he started acting in films. His career didn’t takeoff until he was in his 40s. Same thing with George Carlin, I followed his career as I got older. He did a lot of standup and I have some on vinyl. His best work was probably in his late 40s, early 50s. He was in Bill & Ted Excellent Adventure in 1989. He was like 52 years old.

It’s the difference between Mel Gibson and George Clooney. Audiences made Mel a movie star. First with Mad Max; then with Lethal Weapon. And you could probably name a dozen other movies he’s starred in even if you’re not a fan. George Clooney on the other hand worked and networked his way into opportunities and even then suffered massive bombs. @acpjr He definitely feels more comfortable for sure. But he takes pride in calling these interviews, but some aren't formated that way, like his Boosie ones. And it just turns into just a conversation between friends, which doesn't mean it can't be good, but interviews should give you some more insight into the person. Not saying he can't have a laugh here and there, but banter like that turns into more of a podcast and not an interview. You know? There has to be a degree of professionalism. Not this: Vlad: "What do you think of (current event)?" Guest: "I thin...." Vlad: "Cause I remember that when Tupac was around..."

@@CruzzzControl1984 True, but his regular guests such as Boosie, Aries, TK Kirkland, Gilbert Arenas, etc. are paid appearances specifically to discuss current events. Not every sitdown is an "interview".
