@@Armani_Kelz27 I personally think the disconnect is when Vlad was without money loving on his homeboy sofa he didn’t have insurance & luckily didn’t need it at the time. But by the time he started taking his health serious. He had enough to not experience the rejection side. I remember having Kaiser Perm as a kid my doctor at the time said the only thing worse than no insurance is having Kaiser. I didn’t know what he meant at the time, but later learned how if he knew there was a better prescription that Kaiser didn’t carry and make in house. He couldn’t prescribe it to me. I had Kaiser after finding out my pops removed me from his insurance when I moved out of state. Then when I got a job and got a better job. Better insurance. It changed. As you get older. I’ve seen people retire and have to wait 2 months before an insurance kick in. Switch jobs and have to pay a high premium with cobra. Paxlovid. You get covid. That’ll cure that covid right up. But the 5 day pills is like 1K. Hopefully you can find a coupon code if your insurance don’t cover it. I got rejected recently. Man. Insurance one of those things where you just wish you were rich. It’s cheaper to stay at the highest 5 star hotel for 3 nights at $500 to $800 a night than spend 1 night in the hospital. And Obama Care was a blessing for someone in my family who never had insurance before. It saved their life. Luckily Vlad just never heard no. And he was healthy when he was without.

Vlad...you dont know what you are talking about. My mother died from treatable cancer...WHILE SHE WAS PAYING FOR TOP LEVEL INSURANCE. 3 of her doctors came to me and told me they would swear on the stand that Health Net murdered my mother. She was a cancer survivor and the doctors pushed for 18 months to get a test for her that was denied repeatedly. After 18 months of denials they finally approved the MRI...and by that time she had 18 tumors and was terminal. She died because they wouldnt approve a $1500 MRI. Doctors wanted me to sue. Attorneys told me.....I would win the case. But they told me it would take ten years to win and 20 years to collect any money. And in that 20 years, the health insurance company would terrorize me and it would keep me from working. Basically the attorneys told me if I sued that i would have to prepare for 20 years of hell with no job or relationships while Health Net tried to ruin my life. So yeah...the CEO's of these companies set them up this way so that there is nothing you can do. They take your money, refuse claims, then you die and they laugh. My attorney said Health Net would spend $100 million dollars just to not have to give me one dollar. That is how it works.

Like it or not, I believe capitalism is the better way to go.

Why did the killing of the healthcare CEO and its celebration by the masses happened in the US but nobody is going around and killing healthcare providers in countries with universal healthcare. Clearly its the us who has a major problem in that area. Compare the popularity of medicare and private insurance and its day and night. Just as face value, healthcare being for profit, healthcare companies having shateholders who get richer when denial of coverage gets higher. People who had healthcare but the insu company weaseled its way outta paying their customers medical bills to make more profits? You don't see the perverse insentivise? Not even close; those Primary Insurance companies use Reinsurance to soften any major losses to their own bottom line, all they do is sell and manage the policies...and that's assuming catastrophic-fire insurance is available in the Palisades area.

Or…high insurance with high premiums that drops you soon as you need it for life or death and low taxes? Sometimes money means nothing, especially if your health is involved!

Nah, when Vlad starts to talk about taxes you get he actually gets it. Though there are only few countries that have taxes over 60%

The health of average citizen in these countries, that provide healthcare to its citizens is far better. They ride bikes and walk instead of drive. They eat less food or smaller portions. This makes the system more affordable. USA has obesity problem and obesity leads to multiple health conditions as one ages. This makes the system prohibitively expensive.

As someone who is now well off but grew up poor, one of my pet peeves is when people with money forget what it's like when THEY didn't have money. Eff that CEO he was responsible for thousands of preventable deaths in the effort to make millions for himself and his family. Free my 🥷🏼 Luigi!

That shy high taxes based on "free health care for ALL" statement is incorrect. Research Aruba
