Fantastic Job That is one of the most thought out sail boats I have ever seen. Wish I had the money to get one .
@adezone8664 жыл бұрын
I agree. A big improvement on some of the Tiki model cats that I've already seen. It's still basically the same size and shape hull and platform design. The difference is in the clever use of limited space to pack in the instrumentation as well as the creature comforts. Alas, I can only go sailing in my dreams.

As a marine systems guy, all I have to say is good luck with the lightning system....if you think lightning strikes from the sky to the earth in a 'luck of the draw' manner this may be a good idea, but if lightning is an exchange of potentials from the ground up....hmmm....may this boat always be in the sun.

Beautiful cat. Probably my favorite interpretation of the Wharram design yet. Wonder how much she sold for? A dream boat for sure. I particularly like the single central covered living area as opposed to the multiple tiny pods you typically see on Wharram's designs. I wonder if he's ever done any Pahi builds?

I'd like to add to the requests for some performance figures, if possible. That deck layout is awesome, so much room, and I really like the nav station with all the info on the big screen. I've watched this vid at least 3 times now, just daydreaming.
@adezone8664 жыл бұрын
Great rig... I've seen earlier Tiki class catamarans and they were quite Spartan and open to the elements except for the crawl space in the hulls. Here you have made major improvements with the spray canopy, which can be closed like a full tent for privacy or for rough weather, or opened up in fair weather sailing. I imagine that would make a boat feel more like a home. I'm not a boat owner - just an admirer.
@adezone8664 жыл бұрын
PS: It's truly amazing how many home comforts can be built into such tiny spaces with a bit of thoughtful design. I don't know why the 12 dislikes - Perhaps they are looking for an ocean liner (tee-hee). I wish you well with your voyages.
