*Whoa. Judge Judy really lost it, on the containers case.* Humiliating. Exhibited classic signs of encroaching dementia - including growing increasingly *angry* as she got confused over the logistics of the case. It degenerated into personal insults. "He's done a lot of talking but hasn't said anything." Of course he's said something! He explained everything - but her brain couldn't absorb it so - for her - he said "nothing." "You may be able to pull this stuff over on your wife or your mother..." _HUH?!_ I was impressed by the calm demeanor of the defendant. He stayed on the subject, and answered all her questions. The Judge got herself all twisted in mental knots. Her discussion afterwards, with Sarah, underscores her mental state - and she even says she was confused from start to finish. Sarah could only sit there and nod ... her body language was a clear indication of how cringeworthy Judge Judy's performance had been. She needs to dismiss *herself* from public view, and enjoy full retirement in her twilight years.

Yes!! I work with the elderly, most of which have dementia.. she clearly shows signs. It’s sad. It’s true. It’s common.

She's been known to make some excellent observations - brings 21st century perspective to some cases. I didn't like the entire "point" of her, at the beginning, but she's getting better over the course of the shows so far.

@@surlygirly1926I think it's really cute with the grand daughter. She recreated herself with Judy Justice and brought in her grand daughter, who is, im guessing, her prodigy. I think they are adorable! And maybe you're a little right and Sarah helps the Judge understand the changing times
