That's so true, Albanian language (with the Armenian and Greek as well) are the only Indo-European languages that are not based in another language at all. So obviously this song has so many words, phrases and whole sentences that are not even possible to be translated in English so they actually changed the song a lot and they did it way more simple in order to create the English version

It's not my favourite, and Tirana won't be hosting in 2021, but her voice is really special, and the song does have potential for sure. I think with a tweak and a bit of polish, it can make the grand final. Please keep it in Albanian. Love from Australia. Illyrian 1 LOL I know that. But SHY sounds like SHAJ. People are now used to SHAJ so singing CURSE would lose the familiarity of the song. Also, curse is a proper translation than swear. Swear could also mean, "I swear to God" not as negative as Curse.

Not having won Eurovision so far with outstanding screaming women doesn't mean these songs aren't of exceptional high quality rather that Albania isn't much supported geopolitically talking which is the real reason why we don't win. In my humble opinion, Albania always sends masterpieces that the mass Eurovision audience doesn't know how to properly appreciate. The purpose of this music contest is, among the others, to share a piece of their (contestants)culture and emotional notes play a big role in the representation of a nation's culture if you ask me . So, were basically training Eurovision with quality of songs to fit exactly what it was initially designed to be maybe others should open their eyes and not go so mainstream but learn to properly appreciate their cultural quirks and learn how to represent them in a creative fashion.
