I really miss the first start of this routine. It was graceful, elegant, and well-combined with the song. I don't know, whether or not this is because they want to maximize the difficulty in her routine, it seems less beautiful and connected compared to the old routine. Arina was not her best yesterday, but we are still happy to see her new element at 1:24 (as ppl mentioned) and we're always with you as well as Dina, no matter what!!! 🥰

Precioso, precioso ejercicio. Sí aún con algunos detalles a pulir, pero creo este es el mejor ejericio de cinta de Arina, viéndola interpretar, la madurez. Yo creo que el cambio de Shatalina por Barsukova como entrenadora, les ha sentado bien. Lastimosamente en los JJOO, fue increíble ver la frialdad de Shatalina con las Averinas, sobre todo con Dina, sabiendo el sistema de entrenamiento tan duro en Rusia. Me alegra aún ver en activo a Dina y Arina, son unas Reynas 💗💗

As beautiful and difficult at this routine is (and I am an Arina fan), I do think that this routine (along with the routines of a lot of Russian gymnasts) severely lacks distinct dance steps and artistry that should be perfectly in tune with the music. I don't think it's because Arina had a drop interruption either. For example, at 1:22 when the music's vocals do a fast string of notes, all Arina does is waves her arms in a loop while looking up at the ribbon right before she does her new element. While the element is cool, I think these handful of seconds were a poor example of creativity and takes away from the artistry of the routine. If you want a comparison, look at Daria Atamanov's Ball 2022 routine at the European Championships. She uses the same music as this routine, yet Daria's artistry in many parts of her routine cannot be denied, even if she may not have nearly as many difficulties. Overall, I agree with many others who've been saying for a while now that the previous COP pushed nearly all the top gymnasts to perform endless strings of risks and ADs at the severe cost of the artistry that makes RG beautiful and unique.

Пора девочек, т е Авериных уже отпускать на пенсию. Особенно Дину. Устали они, без энтузиазма выступают, чтобы отстали от них. Замуж уже надо, детей рожать, тренерами становиться. В России и другим девочкам надо давать дорогу. Есть же много способных, фактурных. А то только Аверины, да еще и Крамаренко раскрученая.
