Fabulous playing by Aris Quartett. And I specially like the third movement "Andante espressivo ma con moto" at 19:20. I think about how string quartets have dominated music life long before we got these consert halls. Played at home, or in a small gathering of friends. I almost like to call it the real root of classical music. Hopefully string quartets in the future still can be played in big consert halls, like here, partly due to modern sound techinics.

I completely agree with you. But, for the future, we need to spread recordings like this around, in emails, on Facebook etc, so that (young) people who have never heard or heard of chamber music may learn of it and hear it.
