From Twittter post game video reunion: Big Brother Canada 7 houseguests reunion: host Arisa Cox gives Anthony Douglas the full credit for actually playing an iconic game in the North American format of Big Brother (U.S. or Canada).
In this BBCAN 7 season Anthony manipulated most of the houseguests including his own alliance members in a traditional style that would give him a win in the Big Brother US format. All of this why Anthony never touched the block once and made it to final 2 without winning one HOH comp and only one veto comp.
The BBCAN 7 jury members refused to give Anthony even one vote to win on finale night. Even though it was Dane Rupert, the winner, who backstabbed most of the jury members.
Might BBCAN 7 jury members be considered a bitter jury or a jury that only respects comp wins and not a jury that respects the game of mental manipulation?

Notice how Cory Kennedy wanted to answer all the questions. It appears after Arisa made her statement, about the evolution of the game, Adam wanted to answer and Cory took to the mic again. The fact is Cory played one of the worst games and she was under control by Anthony. Yet, she wanted to do all the talking on the subject.

Still wonder why Cory needed to do all the talking on this subject when her game was horrible and she was one of Anthony's puppets or pawns.

Cory would have voted for Anthony but production got to her in the jury house and said her relationship with Anthony would reflect badly with her husband and the audience so she immediately changed her tune to become anti Anthony and pro Dane...

I hate when people prioritize comp wins over social game. I love when people win comps, but I’m more impressed by people who can manipulate people into doing their bidding.

Everyone values social game when the Straight Black Man is winning comps. But when he isn't, then they value comps again. It's BS.

So because production's favorite Anthony didn't win his original season, they had to create an entire season designed for him to win this year? 😂Lame.

@@lai17 Because Anthony outsmarted her and production. He isn’t the “best player ever” but he clocked her and producers getting rid of Victoria. Spicy had 3 other Black women to play with and Anthony was the only Black man on this season. Avery said in preseason interviews that Spicy was her favorite player. The first HOH wasn’t physical and only between the vets Spicy and Anthony with automatic safety in the event one of them didn’t win HOH.

Right...... let's see if the evolution of the game ignores not touching the block while not being a floater. Anthony for sure was no floater and he had a strategy. Anthony Douglass pre-BBCAN 7 interview strategy . His interview was very true to how he played the game. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYLVkHl-jrBgeq8

What's Cory talking about? She was under Anthony's thumb the whole time, so how did Dane play the better game? Production just didn't want him to win and so they resorted to their usual trickery. Invisible edit, bad edit, pre approved questions during exit press of the jury members and thus influenced them ergo the outcome of this vote. And Arissa didn't give him credit at all.

For historical record. Josh Martinez once said that he is an Afro-Cuban, thus being a Hispanic or Latino. This means Josh is the first African American to win Big Brother U.S. or any Big Brother of the North American format. Tamar Braxton is the first African woman to win the North America format of Big Brother.

Josh Martinez should not be overlooked regardless if he is Latino. He is still an Afro-Cuban and thus an African American, as he is an American from Miami.

@@hornetsnationcharlotte5694 that's like saying someone with nigerian parents is african american because they was born in america; they would be Nigerian American. Josh is Cuban American because his parents are for Cuba. He is afro cuban or afro latino because his parents are. Know that its years later but thought I should point that out.

I still think Anthony would've lost in American format. Why is Dane's game being shitted on because he was the well-rounded player. Omg, these Anthony fans.

I don't think many are downing Dane's game at all. Dane played a good game. Many BB fans are just saying Anthony played a top game and was not a floater and still didn't touch the block once. Yet, he received not one vote of support during the finale. You are correct, Anthony would not win the U.S. version. This is because African American males, on the U.S. version, typically get voted out before jury. The U.S. version doesn't like aggressive black males or aggressive black females. But, a person can be aggressive all day (as long as they are not black on the U.S. version) and still make jury. It's even rare that African American women make it to jury on the U.S. version of Big Brother. If one only watched the television episodes they might not have known how great Anthony's game was. One would have had to watch the live feeds. I think the BBCAN 7 houseguests will understand Anthony's game once they go back and watch the live feeds. Anthony wasn't even on many of the early television episodes showing what he was doing. The part that Anthony did poorly was he failed to point out his power moves to the jury. That is most likely because Anthony had not viewed many seasons of Big Brother and didn't understand what he needed to do in order to win jury votes. If he had done, he may have in fact won the game. His game was stronger than Dane's and Adam's. Winning comps was important...but, the mental game to influence even verbiage that the houseguests used is ultimate power playing. If anyone has watched Big Brother since 2000 (the North American formats), it's easy to understand that Anthony not receiving a single vote goes to either the jury being full of members who have watched few seasons of Big Brother or just that Anthony didn't present his case well or worse a biased jury. Why did so many on the jury feel betrayed by Anthony and not Dane? Some have said that Anthony talked down to the houseguests. But, if anyone has watching Big Brother (U.S.) since 2001...Anthony fits right in. He's not different than many of the ways the American versions houseguests speak to one another. They are blunt, direct and yes, sometimes insulting.

@@hornetsnationcharlotte5694 Well, you can't blame someone's inability to make jury on their race. Big Brother is a social experiment, and you have to learn to adapt. Other races have done quite well, and no reason for a black person to do the same. You have Jun who beat a white girl at the end . A few other minorites as well. Taking race out of the equation, Dane played the best game, his game was flushed out. He too was manipulative, social, strategic, and a comp beast. Ant only excelled in social manipulation. There were no other facets to his game. Essentially an one trick game. That's why he might've lost in America. The only way Ant would beat Dane, if Dane had a shitty social game. But, he didn't, he was well liked.

@@shavonneproctor7763 Yes, it is a social experiment. The African Americans on the U.S. versions are well adapted. Why they get voted out has a lot to do with actual American culture norms that happen outside the game and seeps into the game. There was one season not too long ago (Big Brother 17) where the last few remaining houseguests, while sitting at the kitchen table, discussed on the live feeds as to why African Americans don't make it to jury. I think it was Steve Moses (winner of the season) that brought the subject up. Of course CBS never aired that conversation on their episode.

@@hornetsnationcharlotte5694 There you go again. You are essentially saying blacks are voted out because of deep seated bigotry, or "culture" as you named it. If the bigotry bothers you so much, why watch? Minorities do not just consist of blacks, of course. Blame race excuse is getting annoying.

@@shavonneproctor7763 Dane played a great game. But, his game wasn't as great as Anthony's. Just because someone wins Big Brother (North American versions) doesn't mean they were the best player. The jury doesn't know what happened until the game is completely over and they go back to watch it and they hear feedback from live feeders. In fact, some of the best BB players didn't win such as: Danielle Reyes (BB3), Vanessa Rousso (BB17), Paul Abrahamian (BB18 and BB19), Tyler Crispen (BB20), Janelle Pierzina (BB6 and BB7) to name just a few. The jury doesn't always vote for the best players.

Anthony played a good game but Dane played a GREAT game. The amount of social manipulation that Anthony did, Dane did just as much of with Este/Kiki etc. And its kind of your own fault on big brother if you play a game that the jury doesn't see and only the audience does. You go into big brother knowing that the jury decides who wins, not Canada
