Issue of godfathers has failed in many states in Nigeria. 1. Obaseki dethroned Oshiomole in edo state 2. Ex-gov of Rivers state dethroned Akpabio current Senate President 3. Even in Lagos state, Lagosians dumped President Tinubu and he lost to Labour party Peter Obi election result in 2023. 4. In Delta, God father Ibori failed. 5. Many other states in the North and South East had history of failed godfathers. 6. RIVERS STATE is not going to be an exception. Wike won't go free after this conflict with Fubara and his political ego won't be the same again in PDP and Nigeria politics.

In the case where those who pronounced the suspension lost thei seats as a result of moving to another political party, is it not common sense to say that since those suspended did not lose their seats, they remain the only substantive members. If the argument of this man. Senator Sekibo is taken to the court, both the Pro-Wike decamped 27 lawmakers and the 4 pro Fubara lawmakers may possibly no longer be rivers' house of assembly members in the eyes of the law. The INEC should therefore conducts new election in rivers state. The pro Wike commissioners resigned earlier because of their loyalty to Wike and disloyalty to Sitting governor Fubara. They cannot remain in Fubara's cabinet and they were there to serve the interests of Wike and not the interests of Rivers state people.
