The people in charge of the Ogoni matter who are from Ogoni land, a lot of them are greedy and selfish. All the monies given to them over the years, the ordinary Ogoni people did not enjoy the benefits. Too many lies! You can see that this man is very evasive in his response to Rufai's questions.

You the first person who has sense.. see how all of them are coming up everyday crying and lamenting because they were not invited or giving opportunity to speak so they can make demands to suit them. If you people know how much all household in all oil rich state or communities have been taking you will be surprised. Their Kings and representative take this money and don't give a dime and pass the baton to another person who will start another revolution and after they take money pass it again to another person. The greed in that area and the mismanagement of moneg over there is alarming. Some of them don't want to work even when offered work but prefer to be paid months and just enjoy. They are lazy over there and each household have gotten billions but mismanage and come for more that why the oil companies ran away. Government will pay and oil company will pay every month so who is collecting the money.. don't mind them if you go there and meet anyone sincere living there they will tell you the blunt truth..

I don't know how you can explore oil and dredge from certain areas. And the areas are the least developed. In the state of Alaska, every Alaskan and people that have lived in Alaska for 2-3 years receives up to $3000 every year from the oil profits. Every Saudi Arabians receives free education up to university level, free medical treatment, and stipends. So what does the Nigerian government give to people from the areas where oil is dredged? The whole area is polluted. Instead, states that they have no oil are the ones enjoying the oil benefits. I don't how any right thinking person expects these people not to revolt.
