I'm a northerner who was born in bauchi, did business with my father in Gombe, based in Abuja and originally from Kogi state. I'm more northern than Kogi people because of the time I spent in those places. He's not ignorant about anything. Sanusi Lamido was dethroned because he was trying to educate kanu state. Let's not speak ignorantly as if we don't know. I have hausa friends and igbo friends and I can tell you I don't know any tribe more violent than the northerners. What a selfless great man he was. Again I say that it is not necessarily how long a man lives but how well. This man Herbert , though I have never heard of him till after his demise , has really positively affected his generation. Even generations unborn will benefit from his big heart and works for humanity. May his soul rest in peace and find eternity in Christ Jesus. It is my Ernest prayer that husband, wife and son made it to Heaven. It is a terrible tragic loss but God knows best. Like Apostle Paul said, Dr Herbert has fought a good fight .... And a crown awaits him in Heaven.
