@@muhammadabdulwahhab8566 I disagree with you. The constitution should be amended. The immunity the Governors enjoy should be limited when it comes to financial matters. Any Governor looting public funds or wasting public funds on frivolities or elephant projects should be prosecuted. Second term should not be made automatic for any serving governors. They must face probe before being considered for a second term. Many governors in Nigeria are abusing the opportunity to serve for a second term. The Constitution should be amended in the aspect of thorough screening for any Governor that desire a second term.

Confederation was the original system of government in Africa where Cowrie was the only currency of africa and every ethnic group had their own president called kings then. But Gowon never signed it, and when all easterners from the SS and SE said they can't live in Nigeria anymore Gowon started the Civil war and fired the first shot. Both the June fulani coup, and not signing of nigeria was masterminded by British who knew that if Nigeria was restructured to a confederation and subsequently renamed the grip of exploitation in Nigeria will be over because the center can't be used to anymore for exploitation because it will be too weak in a confederation. So they told gowon and yorubas and sharia north that if easterners leave then will go and enjoy the newly discovered oil in their lands alone they will prosper will be poor so they foolish bought it and started the war. Another regional system ever again in Nigeria will lead to another civil war. Because the center will always want to influence the regions, the regions having some autonomy and power will fight back and history will repeat itself again. Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. What Nigeria needs is let every ethnic group the 7 ethnic groups or Nations in Nigeria go and become their separate countries or a confederation finished. Federal system won't even work because any person will be sentimental to his tribe and his ethnic group. The 7 ethnic groups are Yoruba, Hausa, Fulani, Biafra, Tivi, Kwararafo or korarafo the middle belt and Kanuri anybody I didn't mention is a tribe of one of these 7. It's different tribes that always make up ethnic group or nations. Eg Ijaw igbo ibibio (efik) isoko igala idoma itsekiri ikwerre itsekiri igodomigodo ( benin) that make up biafra Nation or ethnic group while oyo Ijebu ijesha egba etc make up yoruba nation or ethnic group. But Britain intentionally corrupted this two terms tribes and ethnic groups to perfect their divide and rule and hide from Nigerians that we have only 7 defined ethnic groups and nations because if it's obvious all these 7 nations will want to get out of Nigeria the next day. It's only igbos that is the last man standing through the biafran independence struggle to save and restore these african ethnic nations that is chained and enslaved in Nigeria for exploitation dying out in perpetuity while its people are impoverished. But other ethnic groups and their tribes are still drunk in the wine of false propaganda that Nigeria is the giant of Africa to be preserved whereas both in currency, millitary economy, infrastructure, etc we are not even in no 4. If being a giant is so great why did these ethnic nations Spain France UK Poland germany not combine to become one giant country in Europe?
