Future Palace never disappoint. Have been among my favourite bands lately. I love that modern sound they got. This song reminds me a bit of "Dark" by October Ends. Everyone should definitely check them out if you like Future Palace.

There's that moment when Maria's heavy vocals kick in (especially her gutturals)where I have to take a breath. But with this song, my favorite vocal moment is the softest part of the track. In the outro, Maria uses her falsetto to a beautiful yet distorted effect, and it's so incredibly captivating ☺️

Ok, last comment, I promise FP 😂 I see TONS of people comparing you to Spiritbox, and I think that's solely due to how both vocalists are female (Pantera is JUST LIKE Metallica, they're both guys, RIGHT?!). I disagree, and pretty heavily. Spiritbox, particularly Courtney and Mike, came from a VERY heavy band and started SB as a very heavy band. Then they mellowed significantly while also having some heavy sections. Now they're back to trying to balance the heavy a bit better (all I heard off the last EP was "bland soft song" for the one single and Holy Roller 2.0 for another). Consistently, without fail, FP has gotten heavier and more vicious, and we're not a few months in. This is their third album coming and honestly.. every day, they get heavier and more vicious without losing what makes them a great band. They balance obnoxiously heavy and saccharine sweet with such exacting precision, and so tastefully for such a young band.
