Capcom designs most of the monsters around the great sword, there are a few outliers but for the most part all of the movesets revolve around setting up for a great sword charge attack

@cheikhsadiboucamara2583 It's called a slinger burst. You need to have slinger ammo equipped, perform any attack on the greatsword, and press the slinger button to do a slinger burst. You can follow up with a true charge slash afterwards. You need Iceborne purchased and downloaded to do this.

When I first started playing MHW I started out as a Great Sword user. I already loved using Great swords in other games I play & I know the GS in this game is a high risk-high reward weapon. As I began my journey, I struggle greatly with using the great Sword, obviously I'm new and need practice. So I go into the training room & practice the controls. I learn how to use it better & slightly improve, but I still struggle with killing monsters. I eventually beat the game switching to the bow & enter Iceborne, still struggling. But I begin missing the feel of fighting monsters with my Great Sword... I feel conflicted between wanting to use the Bow for easier gameplay & mastering my true weapon. I decide to take a break from MH as I struggle with what to do going forward... Fast forward to now where I find this beautiful well-crafted video you made about using the Great Sword, no, becoming one with it. I must confess, it made me tear up with how beautifully you used it.... I am suddenly filled with inspiration in picking up my Great Sword & using it again. From this day forward, I promise to master my Great Sword & become one with it. Thank you for this video, because of you I'm back to becoming a Monster Hunter again.
