Well unfortunately I am not a Cardinals fan, so I don’t know every single detail, but I have watched every single Cardinals game this season. I pay very close attention or as close of attention as I can to the details as possible when doing the research for the video plus I do watch All-22 before doing these as well, which is why these typically take 2 days to make just because I like to put a lot of time into these. Anyway, I will always try to keep young and getting better 😁

Might be the best roster breakdown I've seen on AZ. Great work. Few notes: Re-signing Phase I think you're sleeping on how good Hernandez has been and how key to the culture and I'm surprised to see you re-sign Brown and make no mention of him. My thinking would be the opposite but they do like Brown a lot, so it's possible, and probably the cheaper way to go. Either way, I don't see Adams leaving the starting lineup at one of the guard spots, so it is likely an either/or with Brown and Hernandez. Barnes has been a good rotational/depth LB and special teams cog, guessing they re-sign him. FA Not sure what Brown's value is after all his injuries the last few seasons. Total bust in AZ the last time around. You're right they could use a field stretcher and WR2/3-type talent. Mack and Bolton would help an undermanned defense. Draft Pretty much exactly the positions they should hit in the first 3 rounds, and the day 3 picks fit well. Good job!

It’s definitely not a perfect breakdown, but really tried my best to hit as many things possible, and I will say forgot to talk about Barnes, and your 100%, so I fully expect them to bring him back, plus he probably won’t be super expensive. I’m really curious which Guard they bring back. I do think Hernandez is huge to that line. I was just thinking maybe because the injury, they might move on; however, I think it probably makes more sense that he resigns than doesn’t especially coming off injury he probably wants to prove it next season. Brown was very tough to project especially since he only got $7 million from the Chiefs. I think their were some bonus opportunities thrown in their too, but it probably doesn’t make tons of sense what I paid him, at the same time tho I think Tyler Lockett and Darnell Mooney are very fair evaluations for him, which is where I came up with those numbers, so honestly I have no clue 😂 Thanks again bro the holla and info 🤘

I do agree that Kyler is being paid a lot, and currently is being over paid for the way he played this season. I have to push back tho on if he is a bad QB tho and that he should be cut. I still believe Kyler is in that 7-15 range for QB’s. He’ll have some season’s where he plays above that and season where he’ll play on the lower end of that, but believe you mean as a Jets fan, I will take Kyler any day, so I lean towards keeping Kyler all the way and continuing to build the roster, which I think could be really good after this off-season after taking that hard reset a few years ago, now it’s time to put this together!

The reason I think they would be more open to paying him this season is, because I think now they feel like their window is open to win. Not saying they were not trying to win this season, but it seems like they were holding back a bit to save money for this season and next to get. Yeah I completely agree, because I think that was the biggest reason they didn't make the playoffs. If they could of closed out a few more game, they could of easily made the playoffs, so I do think that should be the focus this off-season. Injuries also caught up to them imo by the end of the season!

I like most of it. Mike dub is a solid 2 though, the numbers not being there are not his fault. Bunting has been a liability 99 percent of the season. No thank you to Brown. Find another field stretcher please. K1"s main problem has been meltdowns towards the last half of seasons. Over and over again. It's gross. That being said, he looks like our best option next year. Really like the thought of Mack coming aboard for a season. Like the draft too. I would personally like an edge earlier but would not be sad about this. I definitely agree with you about Mike, he’s absolutely a solid weapon, and I think he could have a really nice yr 3 too. I do think Bunting is more of a slot guy that they have had to play on the outside for desperate purposes. They could move on from him, cap wise he’s not a huge hit or nothing, but I could see them rocking more Elijah Jones/Starling Thomas next season. I understand with Brown. I think the connection with him and Murray is nice, but the injuries have been troubling, and I imagine you would have to just know when signing him that he’s going to miss a few games. Depending on the news on Jonah, that would kinda of determine how soon they need to take a a tackle in this draft. EDGE/IDL tho is the top need forsure. Thanks brotha for the holla and feedback 🤘🔥

I would seek to upgrade at G and backup QB - I wouldn't want to turn over the offense to Tune from what we've seen so far. RT concerns me although I don't know the extent of JW's injury and Beacham is getting old at 35, so it needs attention. Leonard Williams absolutely destroyed the interior OL. It needs an upgrade. Kyzir White will get a nice deal somewhere else. I'm not sure how much the Cards want to spend there. The Edge class is deep, but how many will be true sack masters in the NFL?

Yeah I think Adams should continue to take a step, but they are going to have to either resign Brown and or Hernandez as well as get some depth. I’m curious how Jon Gaines has come along at center in practice, because Froholdt being a free agent in 26 is something they might want to think about. Yeah I agree, RT is a big concern. Hopefully Williams is alright, but I do think their is a real chance they might not have him a ton next season, which is why I went tackle round 1. I really need to hear more about the injury. EDGE is probably the biggest need still on this roster. They need a dude!! Linebacker is something they just haven’t been able to get right it seems. Wilson and White have probably been their best duo in a minute, but we’ll see if they resign Kyzir or not. I’m guessing yes unless they can get a clear star like a Nick Bolton. I’m curious how they are going to use their money.

@ Rumor is Denver pursuing Bolton - Cards can't compete with that cash and even if they do outbid them, it wouldn't be wise. The Rallis D held the Lions and Vikings, for example, without a pass rush. I always want to upgrade, but the team needs to get talents pipelines going and be judicious in FA if they want to build a consistently competitive talent turnover model.

Overall i like the draft. I like the positions you addressed, just not in the order you addressed them. If the cardinals don’t take a defensive player in round 1; either IDL or Edge, fans may lynch Monty. Tackle can be addressed in round 2 or FA, but not in round 1. I wish we’d kept Hollywood brown in the first place, letting him walk was a big error. Wilson’s an average #2/3 wr in this league. Dorch’s story is nice, but he’s isn’t a starter. I let dorch leave personally. SMB has been a liability in pass defense this year, we should cut him as of yesterday; we really shouldn’t have signed him in the first place he’s a slot cb, anytime hie’s played on the outside he gets cooked. I’d take IDL/Edge in round 1, OL in round 2, another edge in round 3, and after that i liked your draft.

Yeah I like that plan as well, and I think that’s probably how they actually draft. I went tackle round 1 mainly because I feel their is a steeper drop off at tackle than edge in this class, so I kinda wanted to add someone in free agency to help, and I am also worried about Williams situation at RT. But hopefully he’ll be good to go, and I think 2/3 round make a lot more sense. I also agree they might go interior 1st round especially depending if they don’t bring Lopez back, which I expect them to do that, but still they could really use a stud on that interior as much as their interior means to that defensive line and their scheme. Nice breakdown. I disagree on Free agent Signings. Hollywood Brown was just never that good when he was healthy. Just bring in more young talent through the draft. The O and D line are this biggest issues.

Wow, this was not it for me. Resignings: I get Kyzir White isn't the best linebacker on the planet or whatever, but he is a very vocal leader of that defense and someone this team has a lot of confidence in. Our DC named his son after him. I'd be floored if he wasn't back next season. Arguments could be made for keeping Hernandez and Dortch as well. At the very least, should've looked to cut one of the DTs we signed last year, probably Jones, and maybe SMB to save cap. FA: For a team that needs edge help in the worst possible way, our way of addressing that issue is with a 34 year old Khalil Mack for $20 Mil, yeah that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. While Hollywood is the exact type of receiver we need right now, I doubt Monti would pursue him should he become avaliable again. Plus, he's quite injury prone. While Nick Bolton is a good player, I wouldn't have signed him for what was said earlier regarding White. I probably would've looked to sign G Trey Smith and EDGE Haason Reddick, plus some depth pieces. Draft: In a draft loaded with future star studded edge rushers, especially at the top of the draft, we pass on them to take a Tackle who won't be ready until likely mid-season, if that, and will be kicking over to play RT for the first time. Huge miss early on. Arizona has to use their first 2 picks on this defense. Rallis needs something to work with. Definitely not an ideal scenario in my eyes

All very fair points, and I think that there are many ways they can go heading into the draft. Here’s my push back or comments on that. First with Kyzir, I almost did resign him for that reason. While I didn’t know the DC named his son after him, he certainly has been a leader for that defense obviously holding the green dot and making some big plays this season. I just saw an opportunity to upgrade for the long haul with Bolton, so I took it. If Bolton is not interested, I would resign Kyzir easy!! Bolton would probably be the only dude available that I would say let Kyzir go, but heck they could still bring him back especially since Mack Wilson plays a lot on the line as well. Khalil Mack is older, but he is still playing at a high level. It is a bit risky to sign him, but I would be looking at just a 1 year deal anyway. I think he would be nice especially with all the young guys they have to add that dude in their. Granted I certainly don’t hate them going EDGE round 1 or 2 especially in this class. The reason I we t tackle round 1 and not on day 2 is because I feel the drop off between tackles on Day 2 and DLine on Day 2 is huge in this class. I am also worried about Jonah Williams lastest injury, so we really need to found out more information on that situation as well! I think not resigning Hernandez was a mistake. He means a lot to the team by the sounds of it, so I could totally see them resigning him, so that’s just my bad. I just felt like Brown can stay at LG and Adams can stay at RG if I resign Brown, so that’s another reason I did that. Thanks for the holla and back and forth tho, absolutely love it! @GSLINGFOOTBALL I really don't consider tackle a need that warrants a first-round pick, especially with the state of our defense. I'm probably not looking to take a tackle at all if Kelvin Beachum doesn't retire and comes back. When Jonah was on the field, he was a rock on the right side. I don't know the severity of his most recent injury off-hand, but replacing a tackle who has knee injuries with a tackle who is currently out with a knee injury just doesn't make sense to me. Bolton and Mack are great players, but those types of moves seem more so akin to the previous GM. Monti knows what he's looking for and how to help this team. I doubt bringing in a 34-year-old edge rusher as the only substantial addition is something he'd look to do. Correct position, just not the right player imo. Love the content tho my guy. Tune into the mock drafts every week

Yeah that’s a great point lol with replacing one knee injury with another!!! It really is more of a day 2 need forsure especially if Beach comes back. And with that, grabbing one of those top EDGE dudes would be more beneficial as well. They have to nip this in the butt once and for all!! FYI McBride never got his hands up, and the ball bounced off his facemask. The ball was very catchable, a litt. High & a touch hard, but Mcbiride has to make that catch. McBride was late in turning had bride was late in his break and getting his head around which caused the issue.

The frustrating thing with Kyler is his inability to play well when games matter at the end of the season. It’s a pattern and is why he’s not a top Quarterback

I think they need to give him at least 1 more season especially since the money is still guaranteed. I would draft a good backup/developmental dude tho. I also think this team can get it together heading into next season when they get more dudes on the team.
