Arizona Cardinals Need More Talent

Arizona Cardinals have had a fantastic run since Monti Ossenfort and Jonathan Gannon took over at the beginning of 2023. They've cut bait with players who they didn't see as a part of the future like Isaiah Simmons. They've drafted well in key positions in an effort to build the team from the ground up (Paris Johnson Jr, BJ Ojulari, Garrett Williams, Marvin Harrison Jr, Max Melton, etc). They've added veteran talent to bolster the talent level from experienced guys by adding Kyzir White, Sean Murphy-Bunting, and Jonah Williams to name a couple. The thing is, which is just the harsh truth, that the Arizona Cardinals were left in such a tough spot by the last regime that everything Monti Ossenfort has done up until this point isn't enough. They've got to add a couple more veteran pieces this offseason namely in the wide receiver and pass rusher rooms. They made a decision that wide receiver was going to be a massive position of strength when they drafted Marvin Harrison Jr at #4 overall. They need more talent in that room before Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season to fulfill that goal. Zay Jones is meeting with the Arizona Cardinals today. Would he be the right fit? i've been montis biggest critic the past couple of years but he is slowly growing on me he is building this team the right way. not going after expensive free agents his philosophy is simply why spend a lot of money on a couple of top notch free agents when you get more bang for your buck. i was critical of that before but then i realized what he was doing and this draft class was amazing lots and lots of potential there. so i'm going to come out and admit i was wrong about being so critical of him keep cooking monti.

Only time will tell there will be pros and cons. If they are committed to winning through draft it will take time but pay off im the long run and that could be 2years

Zay would be a good addition, as a Raiders and Cardinals fan I'd selfishly enjoy to have him back on one of my teams lol but he fits this Cardinals situation more than the current one the Raiders have.

Even though the Cardinals 2024 Draft is Over could the Cardinals offer a late round 2025 pick for Treylon Burks who has 2 years left at around 8.5 million Total. Since the Titans have Signed 2 Wrs this off season and still have Hopkins signed

Mack Wilson is a backup his whole career.. started 1 game last yr..3 the yr before and 6 before that.. 8 and 14 as a rookie

This roster has had a complete makeover. I don't want to hear they don't have talent anymore. They lack experience. If they have a great season. everybody will be talking about how talented they are. And of course it could be better. We could have lost against Philly and had the second overall pick and traded back for a buttload of draft capital. That's how you build dynasties.
