Senator Tenney told me at dinner one day he would drive the old Ford truck backward up the hill the back way into Prescott. It was a gravity feed gas line as the tank was in the dashboard and when a hill was steep enough it would dog and die . So backward up the Bradshaw's . Good job Jeepsy ... Saw you with wonderhussey.

Back in the 40s, my dad was friends with Tommy Cleator, whos dad (James) the town is names for. My dad and Uncle would pick up Tommy and theyd drive to Jerome. They would take the Senator Hwy to Prescott then drive over the top of Mingus Mtn. I guess, from the stories I was told, fights with the miners was not uncommon. Have lots of stories...

Cats aren't grumpy. They are just kings of earth and are annoyed by humans, unless you have treats

Those two cats are only grumpy because they're outnumbered by the dogs. That and they probably aren't getting enough treats. ;-)

Nice job covering the history of the historic town of Cleator. I thought you meeting Corey what is an exceptional find and he turned out to be a fine fellow by offering to take you inside a couple of those old buildings and showing the care he and others have taken to preserve that history by doing such a fine job restoring them. You're really pumping out the content Sarah, I just hope you're still finding time to take it easy so you don't run yourself too thin doing what you love. You're just getting better and better at finding your voice and producing great videos.

Ha ha! I remember when "Hippies" came into Jerome Arizona, started selling home crafted items. Actually brought in more and the town saw a growth spurt, tourists equated money. Most who moved there just wanted some space. So, when Sarah points out the Hippies use back door sign I remembered that. A lot of these old Ghost Towns are good places to live....if you are accepted by those there ahead of you....and the small gold/placer miner can make some bean money! Thanks for such a cool visit Lady!

Very cool little town, Sarah! It was awesome of Corey to open up the general store and schoolhouse for you as well. I'm just glad that I don't have to work that type of gig when there are no more than three people backing me up with hundreds of tourists at once! Good for them though; that will probably tide the town over for another year. I hope someone can fix that freezer!

You probably get asked this alot but have you ever stumbled across anything spooky or something you couldn't explain? I love anything scary or paranormal and have read loads of accounts of people sleeping in camper vans being visited by sasquatch... one chap even had his whole camper van rocked and lifted up and down by something large one night! Keep safe and keep doing what you do... can't wait to follow your adventures!
