At 4:13, that x-ray attack on Arjun's knight and queen is impressive, and Arjun's counter is equally commendable. Good play by both. 🔥🔥🔥

its called a fork, an x-ray is when a piece of lower value(rook, knight, bishop) is behind a piece of higher value (queen, king, sometimes even rook) and the higher value piece is attacked and when it moves the piece behind it is also attacked.

@@pratyushranjan3913 No he's correct. There is a x-ray threat after the fork ...g5 Qg3 Nxf3+ and now bQ on b8 x-rays wQ on g3 through the wN on f4. Black's next move ...Bg2 was to unpin their g5 pawn to threaten ...gxf4. At 4:50, if White didn't have that Nh5 move in that line, he would be losing.

His opponent's king was too good. While the king was trapped in the corner or on the bank rank, Arjun had a chance to draw. Once the king got close enough to the pawn to help it queen, there was no defense. The problem was that Arjun's king could not help, because it had to stay guarding Fedoseev's pawns.

I played the video multiple times to find out when Arjun's knight was hit by a tranquilizer that immobilized for the entire middle game, but somehow i couldn't find it. All i saw was Arjuns rook going and acting as an alarm bell to Fedoseev's king, O lord wake up please, its the end game, you ought to come up the board 🤐 (just fun, i know Arjun is a top player)
