Look at the work of the entire cast. Arjun Rampal is no match..his work in Raajneeti was perhaps his best performance but compared to the works of others in Raajneeti his work is just so so. Ranbir, Manoj, Ajay, Nana, Naseer they all performed much better than Arjun. I have not seen any politician in entire north or central India with an accent like that of Arjun/Prithvi Pratap in the movie...so if you are comparing his work to real world ...it's not upto the mark. Watch the whole movie to compare the works of the crew relatively.

BS! Arjun Rampal and John Abraham definitely are no match for Ajay, Ranbir, Manoj or Nana. If they were so good, they would have given a few hits or received awards like Rajkumar Rao or Manoj Bajpai who despite looking average perform far better than these models. It's true that over the period of last 20 years Rampal and Abraham have been performing better than their original levels but they are still no match for the bred-in-the-bone thespians like Kay Kay, Nawaz, Manoj, Ranbir, Vicky Kaushal and Rajkumar Rao. Oh and yeah, Salman is equally bad at "acting" per se in many movies but he has solid screen presence. And, he too like most of the artists has improved over the last 10+ years. I would rate Salman much below Manoj, Nawaz, Naseer or even Ranbir for that matter. Look at the IMDB ratings of his movies and you'll know what's their worth in an informed/mature audience.
