I think I know why the Carchar went rogue and started running away after killing that anky. Anky corpses have the tendency to spazz out, so the corpse must’ve gotten launched somewhere before the Carchar could harvest it, leading to it still chasing the corpse to eat it without being able to reach it.

You probably already know this, but if you logged off and turned pvp mode on when you were leveling dinos you could hatch a bunch of carcha eggs for each of your boss dinos to eat and level up super quick. You can add 40+ levels in seconds.

with some testing some other ark vets and I have determined that the most optimal number of rounds for a purple osd is 14. any higher isn't worth the time spent as it seems to cap out the loot quality.

the strategy can be improve by holding some High Health babys and let your main army receive many agro stacks by killing it and then sent them into death mission (though you'll need alot for one Cachar's full stack since their basic health is low so it's hard to grant to 100 stacks), with the buff, it should be possible to overkill alpha king titan with the boss rush way.

@Lowii. do u have single player stats on? if so, that's the reason your carcha's were doing 15k dmg. if you didn't know, single player stats give you the boosts in dmg and all sorts of other stuff like that of if you were with 4 other people.

@@StupidBaby12341 yeah, this guy edits for him. But that’s the island. Bosses that a carchar wouldn’t even need it’s stacks to be able to solo. (Not like it can’t solo these ones, but it’ll be difficult without stacks). Also, island bosses have way less AOE than the titans do. You would probably need hundreds (plural) of raptors to kill the king on GAMMA let alone beta. Or hell, forget the king, even the forest and snow titans would take ages

I feel a bit baited tbh. I saw the thumbnail and thought "oh! That sounds tough!", started the video and saw that you nearly complete skipped the tought part. I expected to see how you managed to get even to the point to be able to tame and ride these without any other tames. Yeah, the answer was skipping it by change the serversettings. All that was left to see was beating extinction on easy mode with one of the most powerful creatures. I still enjoyed watching it, don't get me wrong. I just wanted to say that I expected something different.

The incubator is actually a part of the main game (from the genesis 2 DLC) but I was able to get it on Extinction cause of the mod S+ which gives all unlocks regardless of the map and the other mod I was using was Awesome Spyglass

I always find a range between 3x and 5x for harvesting a good balance between being too grindy and quick. Breeding stats tend to be a bit higher for me though, more like 10x

yo @Lowii , how do you get the carchars to respawn? IDK if its only on fjordur, but when u kill a carchar or a giga, it will never respawn. U can wipe and do anything, but they will never respawn

That sounds more like an glitch/bug cause I've always had them be able to respawn. Sometimes they can spawn back in quickly or it can take a while (it can take ages on other maps)

You just got to look for their spawn points. On extinction they will always spawn on the edge of the snow biome

I'd say charchars are better as if you bring a bunch load of dodos or other dinos to the king titan arena and kill them before dmging it the killing frenzy buff makes u do a hell lot DMG my 60 meele 61hp charchar with 100 frenzy was doing about 90k DMG per bite
