Hi Steve. I went though a lot of this same testing and I eventually discovered some things that might be of use to you: - As you mentioned there is a cooldown between impregnations, it's 2 minutes. - It often needs to go though a process of hitting your tame before impregnating. If your tame is out of melee range, it won't work. - To impregnate, it needs to be a certain horizontal distance away from your tame. Vertical doesn't seem to matter. - As you discovered though, it doesn't like ceilings above it's head. The trap at 1:50 worked well because it could get close for melee attacks, then back away to impregnate. Though it doesn't need to be as long or as tall as that. It's possible to use a very small trap, but you need to understand it's behaviour to use it. You have to get close to let it melee attack, then back away for impregnation at just the right time.

1 thing i found useful was to use a fjordhawk with prey derection enabled to see when health is low. Red cross = ready to inpregnate worked 5 times for me now with no trap and different mums. Net gun is a must imho tho. Thanks for the video.

for me it was defeating alpha tusoteutes getting a good fishing pole and going fishing you get alot of good bp's that way

Bro I made that trap 1:42 and it worked hell successfully, but the trapped Rhyniognatha lvl 150 vanished away after some hours. Why so? Is it a glitch or happening with all players?

Hey Steve just a idea have you tried using water tames on the rhyniognatha?? Or will they swim in water in the wild? Just an idea water tames have some pretty high drag weight

How many hours did you spend? And have you tested the trap on Lost Island? As it is a free dlc map, curiously enough the levels that you can obtain on those maps are way better than the Island map (on official), but I haven't even bothered to do so.

Hi we have been t try I h to find out if players that were globally banned will be able to play ASA. I submitted a ticket and the dev said we don’t know yet. Is it possible for people with more sway with the company to get this answer? I feel like they are trying to trick us into buying the game twice

I think I'm doing everything right to tame this. The only thing I didn't do is I dont get on the saddle. I wonder if that's the reason why I never got the dino pregnant

Dont need to be on a saddle for it to work . I've tamed 3 and wasnt on the saddle a single time
