Instructions for console: On Xbox or PS5, press the left menu/options button to open the Console Command Bar (it should show the button icon on the bottom left of your screen while paused.) Execute the command whoami Press the ~ [tilde] button again The OSS Id is your Account ID Currently on Xbox/PS5 you can only do this with a keyboard plugged in otherwise it will not show the id number. Alternatively for console you can find it a different way if you do not have a keyboard. Below is the mod that is used to find your EOS ID. You can also search for in the in-game mod legacy.curseforge.com/ark-survival-ascended/mods/identity-helper From there you will need to launch the game in sinfle player with the mod activated. Download the mod Click on Singleplayer (Create/Resume Game) Go to Mod Settings Click on Available Mods Click on Identity Helper and at the bottom hit Activate Mod Double check and make sure it's in the Active Mod list Launch the game Once loaded in with the active mod, you will need to hit LEFT ALT + X + C to bring up your personal ID. FOR CONSOLE: Right Shoulder Button + Right Stick Press It will pop up in the middle of your screen

I got a question it might sound silly but how do I get creative mode on the dedicated server which my friend is hosting and bought it on Nitrado and we kinda new to it and we been trying to figure it out but it not working for us the creative mode

Make sure to set an admin password n your Nitrado settings and then press the tilde button when you are in game. This will open the console where you type enablecheats That will put you in admin mode where you will be able to type in that same bar which ever commands you need. I would recommend arkids.net/ if your looking for different commands.

I did everything as you. Double checked the settings and boxes, but my server is not showing up. I have contacted Nitrado, let's see what I did wrong. Update: the map name I used was incorrect. For any modded map you need to check its official name on curseforge

For active servers, it is useful to refresh the Dino population to encourage high levels to spawn in. High levels are typically quite rare on storyline ARK maps, and we find that after players have tamed those, the Dino population becomes stale with low levels. Dino wiping can also help with an overspawn issues.

I've not ever changed this setting myself, but I would harvest a tree or rock with a primitive tool with the setting at default, note how many hits it takes, and then change the settings to 5 and see if the number of hits with the tool changes.

Make sure that your filters are set correctly when searching for your server within the Ark menu. The most common one that people forget when they have a password protected server is the 'password protected' option, make sure that is ticked

this is so fuck**n amazing, can You please clarify the section "Automated task" so if we set it up like You did, that means that by restarting the server will I lose all My stuffs? Like My house, loot, etc. Or that means just the dinos, foods, crafting material respawning again?

Haha, thanks! Automating a daily restart will not cause you to lose all your things, it's just something to have in order to keep the server as healthy as possible. Do bear in mind that by auto default your server saves itself every 15 minutes, and it does not auto save before shutdown. So I would advise logging out at least 15 minutes before an auto restart in order to not lose that 15 minutes of progress (if that makes sense).

Yes you'll need 1 server per map of you're starting to run the all simultaneously

You will need to make sure that you have one server per map that you want to play on, and that they all share the same cluster ID. Once that has been done, you can use the Obelisks, supply drops, and eventually Tek transmitter to transfer between the maps on your cluster.

I have searched and can't find a youtube video on Custom cosmetics and all the settings on Nitrado specifically. I would like to know if you can make a whitelist and/or enabling Wildcard approved only custom cosmetics is possible? Would love to see a video on this 😀💕

I haven't used the custom cosmetics before so I don't know much about this topic I'm afraid. My understanding is that by default only Wildcard cosmetics are approved. You could try putting the mod id's of specific cosmetics you want to add into the game user settings.ini by adding the following: cosmeticwhitelistoverride=

Just wondering, but when the runtime ends does the server wipe or something? Like when 3 days pass does it wipe it when 90 days pass does it wipe, or is it when you have to pay. If it does wipe, is there any way to prevent that?

The runtime will only end if you cancel otherwise it runs on a subscription. If you choose not to renew then the server data isn't deleted straight away, it gives a grave period to re-renew.

Male sure the server is completely stopped before changing any settings. If they are still reverting back it would be worth opening a ticket with Nitrado

Love the video helped me out alot, but i was wondering. If there was a way to upgrade player stat values upon leveling. Im only gaining 10 carry weight per level and cant adujst it to be reasonable. Is there any way to improve on these setting to be a little more manegable

Thank you for your video, my biggest question I was looking for is on my Nitrado server we are currently not getting any xp on our dinos. They are all stuck at 1/10 whee they were tamed or raised. Babies don't gain any extra levels through being raised, but they can gain an imprint bonus if you care for them each time they ask for something. Is this what you mean?

Its been awhile since I've hosted my own server, refresh my memory please. To make a corpse and or a death bag last longer I change Item-decomposition multiplier and Corpse-decomposition multiplier. I lower these two to make them stay in game for longer correct?

I don't think there is a setting for that, you could always increase loot quality with the chance of finding a better quality longneck which would be quicker at knocking stuff out

You would need to run 2 servers and cluster them together temporarily so that you can move your characters, Dino's and belongings over to the new server. But once you have done that you can cancel the old server and just run the one.

You would need to renew your subscription to keep your server save data yes. You do get a discount if you sign up for a year but most people including myself, usually opt for a monthly subscription

Pretty much. If you do decide to close your server, it is possible to grab the save file via a programme called Filezilla. Im sure there will be a youtube tutorial on how to do that if you need it.

You do not need a PC and your Xbox does not need to stay on all the time. Nitrado will run the server for you on their own hardware

There isn't a general setting for this. You'll need to go into the configuration files and then to gameusersettings.ini and type whichever of these you want to change at the bottom of the server settings heading: DayCycleSpeedScale=1 NighttimeSpeedScale=1 DaytimeSpeedScale=1 1 is the default value, increase that number to make time pass quicker, decrease it to make time pass slower.

In your general settings adjust the 'Regrowth ban radius multiplier around structures' setting. You can't adjust the number of points given per level, but you can increase the rate at which you gain xp towards levelling (XP multiplier setting)

For those that need it and want to save an hour of different KZbins…. If you are on PS5 go into settings > advanced > turn on console commands > back out of setting >then click your settings > middle pad > enter this exactly as I type it here without the “” “enablecheats” space and your admin password > then you can type her command in to wipe Dinos.

If the setting for 'Prevent Tribe Alliances' is unchecked and you have configured the max number of people you want per alliance in the same section, it should be working. If the issue persists I would open a ticket with Nitrado.

You can set up your server for PS5, just make sure that you select 'PS5' under the cross play settings at the top of the general settings on your Nitrado dashboard :)

Joining from steam can be a bit janky, I would recommend searching for your server by it's name in the in game menu, making sure if you have correct filters checked

It is supposed to wipe wild dinos on server restart but unfortunately it isn't working at the moment, so if you want to wipe wild dinos you have to use 'destroywolddinos' manually

Changing this setting to 3 is only a small change in the speed a baby will mature that you might hardly notice it. I would suggest upping it to between 5-10 and seeing how that changes the raise time.

If your server is stuck in a restart loop (this seems to happen if you try to change the settings whilst the server hasn't shutdown fully), you will need to open a ticket with Nitrado for them to fix it

@@MissVadams10 to be exact near the bottom of nitrados server settings there is a tab simply named Dino. I want to know if the setting in the tab only affects tamed dinos or wild dinos also for instance the dino resistance multiplier. If this setting affects only tamed dinos then you could make your dinos then that would be pretty awesome for anyone looking to have an easy time but if this affects wild dinos then it would be harder to kill or take dinos around the map

As far as I'm aware the data would be cancelled after a certain period of time of not paying. Best to ask Nitrado directly how long that period of time would be. You could always upload your save file via FTP, stop your server and download that save file when you're ready to start your server up again.

If your server keeps stopping and starting by itself open a ticket with Nitrado, they should be able to fix it their end :)

Make sure your server is turned off before trying to make any changes to the settings. If that still doesn't work I would open a ticket with Nitrado so they can take a look

​@@GoddessTee89 As long as you have the cluster ID set the same for all the servers on your cluster, the password should work just fine. Make sure when you are trying to transfer servers through an obelisk/drop that you have the 'password protected' filter ticked.

Yes, if you want to make a cluster you will need to have one server per map

They will need to make a Nitrado account first. You can then add their username into the server you want them to admin through the Nitrado dashboard

When you are searching for your server, make sure that you have the right search filters set. If you still can't find it after that, I would suggest opening a ticket with Nitrado

You also have to add the whitelisted IDs into the Exclusive join list in the General Settings, and make sure that Exclusive Join option is ticked
