I find pretty much anything "baby" works really good! Baby Rex, baby etc., babies are prime meat. And easier to work with

@No.1R3dneck
@No.1R3dneck Жыл бұрын
@julianescalona1491 I found that any baby worked! I always used Rex's. I just bread them out (as many as I could) I left them in the eggs, and Carrie them with me. Quickly hatch them, kill them, and drag them!

This is absolutely what I needed. There's actually a few dinos I've been having trouble taming on single player and this one I didn't even know where to start. Thanks so much for the video! Always happy to attend the phoocademy.

I love the Carch. If you wanna go Deathworm hunting, this is the best dino for it. Its also really nice for the Fjordur minibosses, especially Hati and Sköll. The best part i enjoy about them is the healing rate. Carchs heal retardedly fast and disable whatever it bites from healing. Realistically for PvP the Giga is still better for immediate damage but for PvE the Carch just has more utility. Also on a side note, as a new age passive tame the Carch is on the easier side and not a pain in the buttcheeks... Im looking at you Amargasaurus. I love you but youre too much to tame, which is why i only ever tamed one

On official PVE you can kill baby rexes. (Boss rexes are the best.) kill them with a high damage sword and drag it to the Carchar. He did bug out when i did it so had do with no trap for he would not eat the babys. Just Don't take wolf babys and kill for the Carchar. they disappear tough the ground 😂 learned that the hard way. When the Carchar is friendly you do have to kill wild animals to tame him

Thanks for the vid! I miss just being able to torpor tame things - it seems like every new creature has to have some sort of convoluted tame method that I'd never have the patience for without YT -.-

Just as a little note, the carcharadontosaurus doesn’t do bleeding. It does shredding, which prevents targets from healing

Very good and in depth guide! Just wanted to note that it will only boot you off when it either reaches 100 rage (the box on the left) or when the timer runs out

Yes typically ...because of the huge name I refer to them as Car-Chars...I've had others refer to them as Car-Cars. Great video as always on How to tame these guys.

Afternoon Phlinger, I enjoyed your taming explanation,shame I already done it and I think I died lots more times trying to get them in the trap, as I learn yesterday you have to let them starve out so it regains heath faster I also put some points into stamina and food will leveling an imprinted carcha , thank for showing me another way of taming keep it up buddy

You said if he throws you off to just retrap him, what causes him to throw me off??
@rocketman7441
@rocketman7441 Жыл бұрын
It throws you off once it's blood rage reaches 100 or the timer runs out. Although if it kicks you due to the timer running out it loses a good amount of taming effectiveness.

It seems that PvP mode is just the best way to tame this dino. Kinda annoying to swap mode in single player but oh well.

If the health pool for the sacrifice dinos are all that matters, it seems like ovis would be perfect, since ya already pump their health to increase drops.

Once they're in the trap, watch their body language. They won't attack you while they sniff the air. That's your opening to drag the corpse to them. Get in close, drop the corpse and get out ASAP. Learn from my (many 💀) mistakes. 😉

this was an incredibly silly way to tame this, if you are end game just feed it a baby boss rex and go munching. You can also use a Desmo elixir to give it 30 percent taming bonus.
