The caves have changed a lot and are 10× harder now. Its a blood bath in them. Almost not enough time in a day to go through one. Then you come back later and all those fun things you killed have all respawned and you have to start over. Its a mess.

Unfortunately i got scared off by a couple of Dilophosaur and some of those annoying flying bugs. Did not realize the hunter artifact was RIGHT FREAKING THERE!!!!! or i might've risked it. xD

anyone get lost inside and panic. I'm claustrophobic even if it's just a game. Only did the cave by volcano once. My saber almost died. The Center even worse in the ice cave where you have to swim underwater. Drowned once. The view is incredible, the enemies numerous. They spawn back when you leave. Three high level sabers, three person team. stew to breathe, and stew for warmth, lots of grappling hooks, some parachute. You can never be overprepared.

it may have been mentioned already, I have not read the comments to the video, but the narration states you can only hold one artifact. as an added tip, if you have a dino you are taking into the caves with you, you can load an artifact into your mounts inventory, and a few moments later it will respawn and you can load one into your inventory. With a tribe-mate or two all on mounts can collect a number of artifacts on a single cave dive. It mounts up fast with just a small party. Happy Hunting.

you can also take a petra in most of the caves, do it for the lava one, make sure it has dmg for the bats tho or you will be swarmed
