I just built this on our latest pve server (on PS4/5) and it was surprisingly easy to follow the directions. :) I think I might try the cryofridge next!

Did this on single player first with official settings (Tek for me is NOT cheap) xD But it went perfectly even with the little snap point tricks. Went MUCH better than my attempt on the Deino Farm XDD Thanks again! I can't wait to try this on the official server I play on normally ^.^ Maybe on Gen2 now that I have access.

@@CHipZz I do have a question, would the same methods work if substituting Metal instead of Tek? (I can leave CI now but getting Tek is still not easy since Gen2 Official is a laggy ridden mess going down a lot xD Like are builds I find able to be adapted with different material walls and foundations?

There are some instances where if you used different materials you wouldn't be able to place things. But I'm pretty sure for this build you could swap out the Tek for Metal without any issues.

Love the build, great idea by KuroganeOfSuwa, nice tute by you For a better example of "Irony", you should have filled it with Dino Storage Crystals. For those on official or console, thats the mod the Ark Devs copied (poorly)when they made Cryo-Pods

Chipzz btw you have tek triangle ceilings on two things and according to the picture it has tek triangle ceilings and should be tek triangle foundations

Yeah unfortunately it's needed to sink the roof down. But yeah it could be a generator room.

I’m building a bigger version of this but I’m wondering why use a wood pillar to raise the ceilings? Would it not work with a tek one? Just worried about the timer on it would take down the whole roof

You should be able to use Tek if you are worried about the timer. I just did wood since it was the cheapest for resources

Yeah if the wood pillars despawn it would collapse. If you're worried about despawn timers I would definitely use something that lasts longer.

Hey there, like I mention in the video you may need to try placing it from different angles till you find one that will allow it to place. Triangle ceilings can be annoying.

Oh goodness, worse case scenario you can always use metal stairs instead of tek. It won't look exactly the same but it will still work.

You may need to move around and try it from different angles. Sometimes Ark is very picky about only letting you place things if you're standing in a specific direction.

It will show up green but not place. Does it on all the outside triangle foundations but will place on the inside of them.

Yeah sometimes Ark can just be a pain. You may have to move around and try placing from a different angle. Maybe even climb up on a ladder so you have a sort of overhead angle.

Honestly you probably just need to try placing them from a different spot. Ark like to do this thing where even though it's green it still won't place. Move 4 inches to the left and all the sudden it works.

I'm similarly stuck at 2:45 ... even with vanilla structures I can't get the thatch ceiling to snap to center from the pillar, it either goes left, right, or on top of the pillar
