This is my method on how to build a Rad Dodo for Egg Farming.

Pro Tip for placing Dodos. Fill them up with stone till their encumbered, then place your Dodo. It'll place correctly every time. =)

Awesome pun, my man. Ark-itect, great one. Anyways, great design overall. Beats the one I just watched overall. The other one was a boring plain square. But yours has more of that extra flare to it that draws my attention every single time. The build can be modified and upgraded like a bench with more dodos against the wall that was behind you for the intro and a bigger room.

If you want the side pieces to be symmetrical, you need to come strait out from between the foundations then work out to the sides. Those diagonal pieces you laid are what shifted that left side to the right.

@@CANNABEARDGAMING Well 1 year late reply. So you proberly found out by now yourself. But hey if you havent , bonus ! hehe. They only need eggs for taming (meat wotn work there), they dont take eggs afterwards tho. I store my eggs in the feeding trough and never lost any even tho my Ovi is in range of it. Even tried have egg in her's inventory, she doesn eat em. Wiki state it aswell, which is good info 95% the time imo. Then again maybe they did 1 year ago , i didtn play then :P I like the bench idea aswell :)

Dodo’s default have a 13% chance to lay an egg every time they poop. An Oviraptor increases it to 18% and a male to 26% but I don’t know if or how they stack together.

Ya put them on "disable wandering" or fill them with so much weight they can't move.

If anyone is having trouble placing the dodos overencumber them first, when you throw them they’ll stick where they land, once they turn their heads and start looking straight again you can take the weight out.

Do you use those Dodos to breed or do you need to set them to wandering for that? Also, why do you need to weigh the Oviraptor down, does he climb over the fence or something?

+Darrell EADES yes they have to wander to actually breed. This is just for fun and bulk unfertilized eggs. And for weighing down the ovi I think I was just over thinking it. As they should not be able to get over the fence

they are all tamed dodos and i just put them all on passive and disable wander. they stay put. unless you call them

+MXD MXD all dinos that lay eggs. Theoretically will lay eggs under th2 right conditions. The placement in this vid is more for rollplay aesthetical reasons I lined them up that way

It's been a while since iv tested. But I do not think u need a male to lay eggs. However at the time I recorded this it. Males gave a mate boost. But the ova rap gave the egg buff
