Stock investments in general are out of control. Gains and losses are attributed to the Sovietisation of the Federal Reserve. A system where people focus less on fundamentals and more on Government signals. The stock market is becoming a lot like China's. You basically have vast swaths of wealth in ETFs that move almost all stocks in a general direction based on whether people believe the government will do X or Y. A stock will go up or down primarily because people want to adjust exposure to US stocks based on perceived government actions and secondarily due to fundamentals like Cash Flows etc.

But let me ask you this then, would you ascribe the kind of probability of success (PoS) to these future products (robotaxis, optimus,other bs) that she likely has in her valuation calculations? If you’d do the same to Lilly’s or Pfizer or any other biotech’s pipeline products and they’d all gain a bazillion $$s in value. I understand that the risk of Tesla’s pipeline products isn’t as binary and high as that of a biotech’s, but the point is, the PoS should be very low at this point and that should make the valuation much (much!!!) lower than her $8T val. I’m just confident that this market call will go down as one of the worst market calls. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
