Ark Irrigation Tutorial - Basic Ark Survival Evolved Water Supply

In this video, I show how to do a basic irrigation setup in Ark Survival Evolved. The biggest thing to know is you need to start with an intake and then run pipes to a tap. The irrigation tap will allow you to drink, and also fill water jars. Water intake pipes must be placed in the water, or where the water is just below the surface.

Bruh I've never even messed with the water well, it started to give a head ache lol, generator took me a hot min to get down except the lamps doesn't wanna work but guessing it hit its cap, whats the cap for the genators¿

Thanks for this tutorial. Lol! I haven't really gotten into planting anything, but, I am using it as a pipeline from the obsidian fields on the East side of the map (The Island) down to the beach, as I've set up an Obsidian outpost, and my canteen can only hold so much. This Pipeline ought to extend my ability to work longer to gather obsidian. I don't really use dinos either, but there's method in my single- player madness. 😁

@@FatFrogsSwamp Indeed it was. The Water line to my obsidian mining outpost is a life saver. I have about three or four tap points along the line just in case I overheat.... and it saves me from having to rely on my canteen (an awesome life saver in its own right). It definitely extends my work time in the obsidian range. Since I don't use dinos, here's what I do: I have a bed on my raft, my home bsse, and the obsidian outpost. I have duplicate armor, tools, and means to cook and preserve food on all ooints, as well as forging metal and smithing. When I'm ready to fast travel to the outpost, I store my current gear at the origin point, then FT to the outpost. Gather my gear there, mine until I have a good lioad, then prepare to FT back to my raft, travel onto the raft back to the outpost, run the load down to my raft, (usually a few trips up and down the mountain along the water line), then haul the load bsck to my home bsse for processing. Time consuming? Yes. Fun? Yes. Apologies for the TL;DR. LOL!

If you live near the beach there is less reason to have a water supply. I think I had a couple of hundred hours in before I bothered with water pipes and taps.

Hey there I got issue with the pipes.... There is water I can drink from it, fill up tanks and watering other stuff but the water doesn't show. I can hear the sound of water through pipes but there is no water graphic. If you know what is the issue please let me know

Tip for people using metal pipes I recommend putting a stone pipe occasionally to see if the pipes are getting water

Depending on the lighting, it can be hard to tell if the metal pipes are receiving water.

I got problem when using this pipes. When is use small or medium crop box, it's not irrigated, but when im using large one, it's irrigated. I thought only large one can be irrigated by pipes, but a lot of videos I watched proves this wrong. Any thought about how to solve this?

All I can think of is the “hit box” of the smaller crop plots might mean that you need to have them directly below a tap.

I don't think you can place a water intake on a raft. The water tanks do fill up with rainwater, and that will work.
