I have been asked many times to try a beginner base (level 30 structures and below only).
Here is may attempt!
I have incorporated a taming pen into the build to get free infinite wood to help you build it!

If your struggling with height limit on catwalks Replace wooden foundations on the ground floor with stone on the LOWER snap point and then place wooden roofs on top of them to keep your aesthetic 👌

Great build! However I blocked at 28:21 to place the three fence fundation. I have the first three ones, the rest seems really easier on your video but on my game I can only continue the middle one Do you have some ideas on how to solve this or can i do the roof in a different way ?

You can use two ceilings instead of the catwalk. You can then find the snap points easily. Once done you demo the ceilings. (The fence foundations should stay)

Bro I hope you see this.. I need advice.. I trapped a beaver in the taming pen just as you did.. after 2 dams it seems he's not building anymore?? It's been days 😔

Hi there, that’s weird. Ok a few things to check and one to try. 1) Firstly check there are not any other dams in the local area. Beavers will only build so many in an area. 2) check nothing is impinging of the pen. If the pen is too small it won’t make them. 3) is there water nearby? Beavers will not built dams too far away from water. 4)reset the pen by opening the door and kiting the beaver out. Then kite it back in again.

Question how long do she build dams? And what are he requirements? I build it but in 4x2 foundation and I haven't got any dams in 3 days game time i skip the nights

The location needs to be near but doesn’t need to be in water. You also need to make sure that the floor is natural floor (the beavers don’t build dams on foundations or ceilings for example). In my build the beaver built dams constantly (but only one at a time) a few times when there wasn’t one built after a few hours I would kite it out and then back in and that seemed to reset it. It won’t however build dams while you are in render distance though

Thanks, this is built on ark mobile, there are no mods or clipping on mobile so should transfer easily to pc/console ;)

You need to use the cycle snap points until the railing is on the thatch and then flip it with the flip button

That is prob because your foundations are sitting a little lower than mine and you may not need to use the ceiling and wall at all and use a regular foundation in their place.

29:18 I can't build there, it says I exceeded the height limit 💀 I have been trying to build this for several days just for it to look ugly in one way or another because something clips through from one side or doesn't line up perfectly just like your building. So to whoever decided to build a base, know it might not exactly like in the video but it will still be nice (also you should really commit to it or it takes 1 week like mine).

I’m sorry you are struggling with this build. Why not join my discord and seek some help? Lots of helpful folks there. If you follow the tutorial then you shouldn’t have any problems. Many people have successfully completed this build so not sure where you are going wrong.

@@TranquilityEden yeah it's okay I just decided to change things a little like not having %20 of the base as a beaver place and did some mistakes I don't even know I assume so I was frustrated from trying to fix everything for hours. You made a really nice build overall, that's a nice video.
