Where do you find the griffins with the surname? Do you need to like go to a specific place for each surname or is it just random?

You just have to keep searching for the right one. Take out all the others that dont match and wait till the right one spawns. That's what i did

NEW TIPS/TRICK TO GET RESPECT FOR GRIFFIN IN 2023 BY ME. ->This trick/tips is better than the 3rd method in general, such as waiting for a level to get a big level or changing the name, step 1 you have to look for a griffin with a high level, step 2 kill it and take the implant, finally just walk straight to the obelisk and revive the griffin but this is the method the trick is the same as changing your name, just spend a lot of amber 224 and boom you get the griffin's respect by getting a level you kill them, I got this trick when I accidentally passed the griffin mountain and met level 290 which is my player level was 50 and thought about changing it to EERIE, and I was very boring changing it to EERIE too many hours I spent, and when I felt very bored, I tried to revive it and was killed in a brutal way, but suddenly" was shocked when it said "respect you "at level 50

If you level 40 you need to share the same surname as a griffin house. Normally you would have to be level 85+ the higher the griffin the higher level you need to be

@@KAMZ25 True, I like the respect system. Makes it a bit more unique when you have a high level Griffin. But the name function...meh, feels like a way to incite players to make a new character and restart fresh. I'm a bit divided on that part. Don't know if I like it or not. Makes so many characters have the same kind if name. Also, I feel sad for new players, who start the game for the first time, and not know about it until much later. Good things we have good content creators to help spread the word ;)

lol yeah that's true... butttt I really like what Wardrum has done with Ark mobile, loads of new content that not even pc or console has seen. Only down side to mobile, is that you have ta pay real money for just about everything. I personally would have preferred to buy the game, instead of it being free to play with in app purchases... @@KAMZ25 oh yea, totally. They've done a great job at making Ark Mobile "Their own", instead of just a straight up copy from PC. And well, you can watch ads, do Daily Pursuits and find Amber on the map, in order to buy most things in the store. Which is one of the things I like the most about the game. One of the things I do really really miss is some more "end game" content for PvE. For PvP I can understand, there will always be the need for an Alpha Tribe and keeping that position on a PvP server. But a boss implementation would be perfect. Taming high level and difficult tames is fun and all. But what's the point really in the long run? Of course they would really have to nerf the bosses quite a lot compared to PC, since we cannot have so many tames on mobile, and it should definitely be doable solo, both in MP and SP. Maybe a limit of 3 tames in the boss arena or something. Dropping Amber, Blueprints, maybe something from the store...etc. Or maybe something newly implemented that can only be dropped by the bosses. I'm sure Wardrum can figure something out. Right now all I feel I have left to play for (Hard,PvE Server) is breeding a giga powerful enough to solo a Wikd Giga lol. Closest thing I can get to end game at the moment. Unless you count solo'ing a Titan 1 vs. 1.

one of the conditions is you to be level 40 and have the same surname as one of the Griffin family. if you are using this way, you don't have to do anything else(except tame the griffin) and works on all modes. If you don't have a surname that matches a griffin family and really want to do this, Then yes you need ta restart.
