Superb play! Love the Archeologist + 3 Clevers + the Effective use of Bears in game one. I have had Archeologists in Lake map but have always been greedy to always take the Reputation. This gameplay was educational!

I also thought BDW was untouchable, but it is well deserved from Dwarvintime. I am 2-3 against him this season and I've consistently been impressed by his ability to predict what I'm holding. Can't wait to see who will be on victory column next season!

I really want to know if ypz didn't notice the archeologist or if he didn't want it. He's a very strong player; I can't imagine how he made that blunder. EDIT: I found his REAL blunder: the best players all leave their petting zoos empty. It's the meta!

Ypz got 2CP from board for the 3rd university, and 1CP from Veterinarian, so it's probably not that bad.

They could have if they got their 3rd uni, but with 2 turns left before conceding they just had the 2 unis. When they played Vet they only had 1 uni which is why I questioned the play - I think they should have just supported projects and not bothered trying to get uni 2 or 3.

Haven't wTched the entire playthrough yet. Any idea why the opponent didn't go for archeologist? Seems like a big blunder.

Can't say for sure. Didn't see it? Didn't rate it high enough? I can understand reaching 600 Elo without having seen the combo before because you get it maybe 1/100 games. Still baffled though.

@@NoWondersTV actually both got removed from arena yesterday, so arena replays are just from a very short window

@@julianabernethy2202 I was pretty sure it was unintentional because there was the option to enable or disable the map pack in arena settings. You can't change any other game-related arena settings. Similar thing happened in Agricola with the newest batch of cards which turned out to be unintentional too.
