I’ll try my best to describe this song in all its glory: It feels nostalgic, yet futuristic. As if I’m making new memories, but still holding onto the old ones as if they were a family member I loved dearly. The feeling of the past is somehow perfectly paired with the futuristic feeling despite being polar opposites, and it creates this song. The overwhelming feelings of old memories that have resurfaced, even though you had no idea you still remembered those things. The joyous feeling of being in a happy spot in your life, unaware that this moment in time would become a memory you’d cry over when you think about it 5 years from now. Everything about this song resembles tranquility at its purest, and deserves to be described as such. A lot of humans feel as if they can’t connect to another human. I believe social media has corrupted us… there’s no true connection anymore, just showing off and posing for others to see. We’re more aware of and informed of each other yes but most don’t care. Like Instagram for instance… like a photo but you are just liking it for their satisfaction… vice versa.
