Got the Ark Royal from Christmas Containers and I LOVE it no clue why it gets hated by so many players. It's easy to play and can dish out some good dmg.

Low pen on bombs and lowish pen on rockets makes doing high damage with those planes problematic / inconsistent, torp planes are good if you chose all the torp upgrades / commander skils. Bombs make killing DD's easy but sometimes slow, rockets only really good for softening up targets with strong AA (and clustered ships) and for your first attack run (as ships will be closer together initially and you don't want to risk losing a high number of torp planes or bombers in your first attack). If you do not have Cunningham as captain the plane speed will be too slow and that will be very frustrating, Cunningham is a must for this CV. You will have a crap game if you loose a lot of torp planes in 1 attack so choose targets very carefully.

Meanwhile when I get connection problems when playing carrier, my planes do endless 360s or ships goes invisible xD Nice video btw Ark royal was a ship I started the game with since it was a free rental.

Ye same. Since the last patch dropped i'm experiencing lots of ping spikes. Planes like to drift in the air, especially when i'm about to drop bombs ._.

Actually send DDs back to port as soon as possible is a great addition towards winning.

sadly the damage rewards are not high, many cv's will not see hunting dd as worth their time post the rocket rework... but it is fun and relatively easy in the Ark Royal

@@Mithril_Antimarr another CV choice is using E. Lowenhardt. One HE bomb hit, approx half HP gone for DD. Also, circle drop circle could allow attack from any angle.

After video, I know the biggest fear for top tier player is neither awesome opponents or shitting teammate, is over 200ms ping connection.

lag is ten time worse for carrier players as lag spikes not only mean that you miss your strike but also take tons of unwanted AA damage AND your planes are in some terrible position at which you'll probably lose all without a chace to actually do a darn thing. It becomes worse the higher the tier you are playing at. Sometimes when a lag spike happens while doing an strike I just straight press the recall because I know that everything will be shit thanks to those one or two secs of lag spike.

I really wasn't a fan of AR when it came out, but I picked one up and have found its probably the most powerful T6 CV in the game, planes are slow, but damage potential is great.

Toptier, I wonder how catapult fighters really work agaist CV' planes. How do they damage CV planes. I knew from you that they do damage depend on their squadron quantity but is it 2 fighters, 2 CV planes lost or 2 squads lost ? A little more, i need tips for how to use AP bomb appropriately agaist BB THANKS ! LUV YOUR VIDS

AP bombs against BBs, basically you need to drop a at the highest point. Wait until you get full reticle, then drop at the highest point you can with the full reticle. Do note that some BBs are almost immune to AP bombs, like french BBs and US BBs. US BBs can be cit by waiting the planes to decent with high plane speed for a moment, then drop the bomb, french BB (T8+) you need a certain spot to effectively cit them

decent rockets, 3 torps per strike at tier VI with a lot of health to tank a tier in which AA isn't reallly strong, improved reticle level bombers (honestly wish this was the default for all british CV). If you play it smart you can do a lot of damage with flood + fires.
