Type in the console .R VolumetricCloud 0. It will double your FPS. Also turn off Volumetric fog.

@@GamerBoyPLAYS Yes like he said remove the r.volumetricCloud 0 and get a good 15 to 20fps boost. Those clouds in the skies take the most juice from your FPS. Once you do that you will see a huge leap will probably be able to bump texture up to medium. I have a RX6600 also. Also remove the Clouds. That thing is a FPS killer.

im just here overthinking if there was something wrong with my system but I guess its confirmed this game is an optimization mess, I got refunded this isn't really worth it at the moment this GPU deserves better lol

Yes Ark Survival Evolved seems to have better performance than Ark Survival Ascended.

At last, someone trying this magnificent yet sadly butchered game with the PC build I'm planning to go with (except I'm thinking about an i3-12100f) Thank you so much for your help Would really like and appreciate it if you could try the game with the same specs again in a few days or probably weeks whenever stupid Wildcard finally fix their crap and hopefully remember adding FSR for AMD users so we can all see the change in FPS.

Looked the video before test a crack and it run way better than on this video.. I have Ryzen 5600g + rx6600 run 1080p resolution scale 100% all graphics on medium but texture high and render distance low, bloom and shaft on because make game look better and other stuff off and it run 30 to 40fps in general.. open command prompt and type "volumetriccloud 0" and "volumetricfog 0" it remove the ugly cloud and fog and give you 10 to 20fps but need redo everytime launch the game.. you can also use "statfps" to show your fps in game.. other than that i enjoy the game realy alot i was missing ark since ps4 but on pc i dont know why looked horrible so i waited for ark 2 but this one look realy not bad sad there is not all map because my favorite by far is ragnarok and a true optimisation and big patch for bug because lets be honest the game out not finished again.. exemple campfire make me lag i needed charcoal so putted 10 and when look in the direction my fps go from 40 to 10.... Or i got a bug after quit game and launching 1h after some dinosaure was missing (a doedicurus and a argentavis)... Game is great but 40€ for a update who should be free isnt normal.. asking myself now if gonna make us pay dlc 👀 i think they realy gonna do.. i remember back in the days the update from unreal engine 3 to 4 or something like that it was free and good improvement everyone was happy but today meh..

enable Radeon Ultra High Resolution and set the game screen resolution to 1760 x 990 enter the commands this will definitely increase FPS enter the commands r.VolumetricCloud 0 r.VolumetricFog 0 r.ShadowQuality 0

oh yes, 1080p medium(low textur) 17/27fps, 1080p high setting(low textur) 16/30fps, we gain fps boys, can go epic will gain even more

also i would recommend to check for your drivers and try to reinstall them, and check in task manager that what is happening in the system sometimes one of the components gets fully clogged by a program and install on an ssd@@yashrajgaming7543

@@GamerBoyPLAYS bro i have tried that qnd my pc doesn't have any software that is using up data in the background, i get in the game with around 30 fps lock on mid high settings , get a constant 30 fps but just after 30 or 40 sec just get a screen freeze . I have tried with all graphics settings too from lowest to max

I use a ryzen 2200g and it is running ark sa around 17 fps could it ve something like bottleneck? I ask this becausr the gpu usage shows 100% ehile cpu just use 70% more or less soo i dont know what could be the problem, could someone help me?

check for the gpu power consumption if it is at your peak power usage then its not a bottleneck in this game
