Fr i barely can maintain 60 fps with my rtx 4060ti and i have the 16gb version and im using dlss frame generation without it i get 20-30 fps on high settings which is unacceptable

“High end” works fine bruh. It takes a minute for my pc to maintain stable frames but once it does it keeps it unless something massive renders in. And I’m gonna say it, I have yet to find any other game that looks this graphically good. I also have a 4090.

The commands: r.VolumetricClouds 0, r.Fog 0 The fps increases on the console, I don't know how much exactly but it increases somewhat (Also use the r.vsync 0 command To set the fps according to the Hz of your screen)

USE A PERFORMANCE MOD. This automatically turns off clouds and fog. It's literally called "a simple performance mod." I never want to play without it now.

I’m confused on what you’re saying in this comment but if you’re worried GTA 6 is going to run worse; it won’t. Rockstar are known in the industry as the optimisation goats for a reason their meticulous optimisation in RDR2 is astounding, to think that game was only ever mastered intended to run on last generation consoles is a testament to experience. I just wanted to add although RDR2 is mostly diffuse maps so they don’t have to focus on reflections and refractions, Rockstar would definitely never release a game incapable of a stable 30fps under heavy load after the GTA5 & RDR2 experience, Rockstar’s treatment on 30fps is also really really good; they have the best use of motion blur in gaming.

Same for me on my S, seems like the series S can’t really handle this game and it should be canceled on the series S in my opinion or they should have delayed it on the S. I stopped playing it a week after buying it because it looked like I was starting at vomit for hours. Now that I have my series X, I’m pleased how it looks and started playing it again. It looks very decent and I’m happy with it. I’m glad I didn’t refund the game, I’m sure they will further tweak and optimize it. But as far as the S goes they can’t do much with this particular game. In my opinion it will always look like dog water because the game is too demanding for many PCs so considering it plays on the S is a miracle, only thing it will never look any better because it’s the game itself and not so much the game system because other games on S look awesome! But for this game it can barely handle it hence why they made it low resolution

I can get 60 fps at 1440p on my RTX 3070/5900x build using mostly medium settings but with shadows, effects, and foliage set to low.

It’s super disappointing because I waited to play this after it released on console because of all the issues it had. Finally decided to play it on my Series S and was like what the hell? In the scorched Earth, after 2 hours play, fps downgrade to 4-5 and lagged. So bad. But after server restart, to be all good (30-40 fps) Series X, 4k tv

I hope they optimize it so at least the Series S can run 768P minimum and for the X 1080p 60fps but the problem isn't the game it's the consoles Xbox made a software based machine PlayStation maybe a hardware based machine so this game should get more optimized over a couple months for Xbox. And PlayStation doesn't seem to have as many problems.

my brother and I live in the same house, we were both playing ascended together. I was on my PC (r5 7600x + 7800 XT) and he was on series S. at one point we were standing on a small cliff and he goes "what the hell am I looking at?" I reply "wdym?" I go into his room to see a mess of polygons and triangles whilst on my screen i could see a small river, a thin shoreline, lovely foliage and cluster of trees trees. edit: i was playing at 1440p and he was playing at 1080p so it made it a lot worse.

It's curious, but on my Series S, the graphics are nearly indistinguishable from the Series X. Both consoles are delivering almost identical visual quality. Initially, ARK didn't look great, but now, regardless of whether it's on the Series S or X, I'm experiencing exceptionally high quality on the Series S. When I compared them side by side, the game looked just the same on the Series S as it did on the Series X.

The visuals on my Series S are so impressive they might even outshine those of the Series X shown in this video. Every detail is sharp, without any pixelation, and it operates at an exceptionally high quality for a console, especially when compared to a PC. It matches the Series X seen here, leading me to choose the Series S over having both consoles. I realized I could perform all the same functions on the S as on the X, without noticing any significant differences. Distinguishing between 2K and 4K mainly comes down to resolution, and honestly, I didn’t see any difference in graphics either. I was genuinely surprised to see ARK running so well on the Series S in this video since I’m accustomed to experiencing the game with the same level of graphical fidelity and resolution as the X.

This is exactly why I didn't bother with the new ark they couldn't fix the old game so released a new one that's still just as bad. Honestly it should be a crime to release games that are not fit for smooth playing isn't that why you have betas? People who test them out heavily before it's released. Console games are just so poorly done now no effort no reliability. I don't buy new games anymore Xbox 360 games are better than 90% of new one games
