I searched high and low for "plover" being an old word for "blacksmith," and I just can't find it. what i have found is that there is a Blacksmith Plover. It is a type of shorebird. There are many different kinds of plover, but blacksmith is one. It is called a blacksmith plover because of the metallic "tink tink tink" sound that it makes. I did find some old English names for a blacksmith: Vulcan, of ferrier (ferur/ferator). Hope this is interesting to you. I love word derivations and origins. LOVE your vids, +Sl1pg8r. I watch them all. I've been here since before ARK was even a thing.

Just a quick tip that might help you- To get loads of XP, take a high level Dino on carno island and get hide. Next make a sickle and get tons of fiber. Finaly, get wood with the bever/mammoth and make rafts. got from 76-80 in about 1:30 hours.

Slip, just FYI, I don't think the sleeping bags are "glitched." They have a radius where they will not work if they are too close to an enemy base. This is so that if you are raiding an enemy base you can't spam sleeping bags all over the place and keep re-spawning inside of their defenses. I think that is why you guys have trouble with some of your PvP events as the game treats it like you are enemy tribes trying to raid a base, not a bunch of jolly lads having some lighthearted PvP shenanigans.

I love my beaver army, I use it for getting wood and it saves me so much time, just pick the leader up with an argent and have the others follow it. It's fantastic for larger builds, and for thatch I have them follow the deer.
