If you want gates to snap on foundations/ceilings, you need to place fence foundations on the foundation/ceiling. Seven fence foundations for a metal behemoth gate, eight for a stone behemoth gate, two for the normal gates.

Hey slip just a heads up those behemoth gates snap to fence foundations so if you just place one fence foundation in the middle of that 7x7 the gates will snap together nicely for his future expansions.

to place it straight you can place fences at the edge of your ceilings. by doing that the gates will snap to them so then you wont have to worry if you're placing your gates straight or not

I have spent the last week watching this entire series. I haven't laughed so much watching game play videos ever. You and Zueljin make the best comedy duo. Watching these video's and how much fun you guys are having is what made me buy the game. I'm playing a multi player, but I am still a tribe of 1 (because really, who wants to be in a tribe with an old lady), but I'm still having a great time. I think I finally got the hang of it after 76 deaths. Keep up the great video's, because it sure makes your day better when you start it off with a laugh. Now I have to spend the next hour going back and liking every video, because I couldn't do it at work. lol Same with Zueljin's channel.

Building on water looks awesome, did so myself on my private server. Little buggy tho, something to keep an eye on. Don't leave any big dinos on an "over-water-platform". When the server restarts (update or whatever) the dinos spawn "inside" the ceilings. Usually happens with brontos and trexes. Meaning you have to destroy the ceilings and walls to get them out. Worst case scenario you have to mount em and use ghost command to get them out. Silly and just a pain in the bu**. Just fyi. KEEP IT UP GUYS!

zueljin creates a floating caste above water with only bridges connecting it from the land then right below his floating island are where his sea dinos are its like above ground all his land dinos are above water while the water ones are directly below his floating island where there is a bigass behemoth gate to the open sea? aaaaand for sl1p (i know you are gonna hate this and say no the moment you read this but the idea is epic i think so ill say it anyway) how about a floating island (with gazillion supports so it floats above the cliff) where the only entrance is a bridge (big enough for brontos to come in) at the edge of the cliff? what do you think sl1p? and thumbs up on both all your videos man you guys are the best duo haha

Hey i haven't every done this kind of building before but you can snap behemoth gates to wooden fences, and you can place wooden fences on the edges of ceilings if you know what i mean, like i said i've never tried it but it should work

Slip! I just saw a survival free-roam type of gameplay of their game called "Grav" It has a similar concept to Ark but definitely has a different style to it, I think it would make for a great series on your channel and it has your favorite...... BASE BUILDING!!!!!
