Ark Tutorial: Best tames for collecting resources!!

Why do people dislike or even hate the Therizinosaur? I've just started really getting into the game again (solo, with amplified settings of course) and I really like that tame compared to all the others I've managed to tame (Sarco, Trike, Megaloceros, Paracer).

My only problem with the Theri is when I am in a fight, it harvests some trees, and then gets encumbered from all the wood. :) It doesn't have any weight reductions.

@@Altaree1u can shut off harvesting for a Dino if u wanna use it for fights not harvest

I love the Theri. It's my #1 for wood harvesting. But now I kno it can harvest & do everything, apparently lol.

Lystrosaur is good for early game Xp. Put levels into melee to make effect last longer.

If you came here looking for a good hide harvester, I recommend the Therizino with good melee and delicate harvesting, use its C attack. Also, if not; Use thyla or saber with melee leveled up as well.

One resource i didnt see/hear u cover was oil. And the Ankylosaurus is really good at harvesting that as well.

I hate therizinosaurus cuz i was once playing at my cousints pc ark and some how a therizinosaurus wandered into my base which was surounded by spikes and he killed my trike dilo and dodos also destroyed my base so i left the game using altf4 and it did not the save the part where he destroyed my base

No it's only collect fiber not berries

If you're playing on PS4/PS5 in order to harvest berries all you need to do is click R3. I'm not sure what buttons you would need to push on PC or Xbox.

shut that nasty ass up brother ark isn't a well optimized game and even mid level pcs need to run it on low graphics, not everyone has a nasa machine to run one game
