ARK XO 500 Jockey Wheel

We purchased the JB Caravan but kept hitting our knuckles on the stone guard at the front, there had to be a better way to do this. One of our good friends recommended this style of jockey wheel. There is two options in the XO range, 500kg and 750kg. We looked at both but as our draw bar is not very long we considered the 750kg probably too long for our needs.
Installation is simple, the instructions are good and everything you need is included in the kit. Hunt around for a good price, we did notice that the price does vary.

Hi question have you tried the jockey wheel on soft ground, I've got a angled soft yard ( worse due to the weather recently) wondering if it be better than a pneumatic fold away jockey wheel, which my weight distribution hits on..

We generally put it a block under the jockey wheel as we never know how soft the ground is…

We have just purchased the same jockey wheel and have identified that the gas compliance plate is on the left hand side of the draw bar and on the other side is the ALKO ASC ? Just took another look at your video and noticed that the gas compliance plate is not on the draw bar - whereabouts did JB place yours ?

The gas plate is Inside the front storage pass thru on our Gator x..

Hi Robert. Have purchased a Gator X which is due for delivery at end of March 2021. Will be installing a Trailer-Mate jockey wheel on it from my last van but like what you have done. Am going to get rid of the stone guard and use a Stone Stomper for protection instead, which gives better protection and saves weight. Safe travels - John

It will be interesting to see how it stands up "on the road". looking good! BUT, please think about updating the camera, 360p doesn't cut it!
